Yesterday, Google updated the app to its latest version , 1.24. Despite the fact that this update didn’t include any major changes, there where a couple of notable improvements. The cropping tool has been redesigned from scratch and upgraded so now albums can now be sorted.

Cropping tool is the major updated part of the app, as the design and layout of the this feature got improved. These improvements include a more detailed rotation slider, the buttons were moved to the bottom and now a new feature was added, which allows images to be cropped while maintaining aspect ratios.

From this version we will be able to have a greater selection of sort options for album. Till now the only available options you could have where recently added’ and ‘default mode’, options which give the same manual arrangement that had previously been the standard.

From what we know, the update is in the process of rolling out and should reach devices which already have it installed, but if you want this update to your device sooner, you can grab a copy of the updated APK from here.

The wireless earphones Fiitii HifiAir by Mifo came to me by post, without any problem with customs. A nice black box, with an image of the earphones can be found on the top side of the box, when on the back, you can read some specifications of the earphones. At the side you can see if the earphones that you get are with dynamic or hybrid driver.

Opening the package, inside you will find the charging case at black, with the earphones inside, a manual and some tips to change the one that the earphone have, depending on how big your ears are.

Removing the earphones from the charging case, set them ready to connect to your mobile and they do it very easily and fast. The earbuds are small, compact and when you wear them, you cannot distinct them from the ears. The charging case, when you charge them or place them inside, shows with leds the percentage of battery that they have. The earphones are with a glossy black color, when the charging case is of mat black. If you chack the image above you see a triangle pointing down…I guess the 3 LEDs of the battery. The charging case charges through USB-C.

The earbuds are with a 3.7V, 40mAh battery and the charging case have 580mAh battery. The battery can charge up to 5 times the earbuds and can play continuously max 6 hours. The feature ANC mode, which can work as strong ANC and mild ANC aned one more feature which is called Transparency. So with Enhanced ANC, the battery last for 4 Hours, with Moderate ANC will last 6 Hours and at Transparency mode will last 5 Hours. The earphobnes connect with your mobile with Bluetooth Specification Version 5.2, at a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20,0000 Hz. As I told you the earphones are either with Balanced Armature or Dynamic. The one I have are with Dynamic as you can see at the image. The earphones are socially waterproof with IPX7 and a effective range at  20m.

Using the earphones, the quality of the sound is very good. But if you tap 5 times you will activate the low-latency mode. By this way you will have a flawless synchronization between what you hear and the action on your screen off your mobile.

I wanted a portable device for a presentation, so after searching around the internet, found out that the YEHUA Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver is what I was searching. So I got it from Amazon and arrived to me without any problems with the customs. The package, a nice white box, had an image of the video transmitter and the video receiver, with the name of firm at the top left corner – YEHUA and with the main features that has this device: 4K, suitable for office and house, no need for internet and supports multi device mirroring.

Opening the box, inside you will find the video transmitter, the receiver, two external Antennas, a USB C Cable, a HDMI Cable, DC for he power and a User Guide.

The YEHUA Wireless Video Transmitter and Receiver works with no problem and setting it up is very simple. You connect to your source the transmitter, to a TV or projector, your receiver and you are ready to go. Since the devices are wireless, distance is no limit. Both devices do not need any special driver or APP to work. Despite the fact that work wiresly, the frequency they use will not mesh up with other devices in the room. By this way you can easily share video, images, text, online movies or games, even browsing in the internet!

The receiver can be connected to your device through HDMI port or VGA port. By this way the YEHUA can transmit wirelessly high-definition HDMI audio and video signals at a distance of up to 30M in an open area. As you can understand it can be easily used in a conference room, where the distances are big and at a house of course, without the need of a purchase of a very very long HDMI cable which will be very expensive. IF you are planning to set a stable projector at your living room, then how big is a projector is no problem, but if you want to take it with you then dimensions do matter. Wemax Dice is the smallest projector in the market. With dimensions only 155 × 125 × 60 mm and weight of only 2.2kg, movability is not an issue! The projector comes in a metal grey color, and at the sides are the two full-range speakers 2 5W, which are very strong if you check my video. Have in mind in the mind the sound is in 50% and is very loud for me. So outside you want have problem in hearing your loved movie or serie.

Inside the box that came to me you will find the Wemax Dice projector, the remote control without batteries, the power adapter, the manual, a cloth for cleaning the len. In my case, the projector I receive despite the fact that is the Global version (yes there are two versions), the cable for the power for the wall was chinese. But thisis a small problem, as you can use any other similar cable from an other device that you don’t use, as I did and works just fine! The Dice at the back side you will find 4 ports – power, 3.5mm audio, USB 2.0 and HDMI .

As for the specs…are very good! With 700Ansi Lumens the quality of the image is superb! It supports up to 4Κ UHD format for the best experience. The display is TI DLP® with a light engine of 4-Channel RGB LED. The resolution is FHD – 1920 × 1080 and a throw ratio of 1.2 : 1. For my testing I found the biggest free area in the house, about 4 x 3m, which was small or in the limit. The recommended picture size is 60″ to 120″. What I really liked was the auto focus feature. You can place at any distance the projector from the wall and it will automatically focus. If by accident you move the projector, it will autofocus again from start. The whole procedure takes some secs, but the result is flawless!. The projector supports HDR 10, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, the color space is >85％ NTSC and from audio supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.

Wemax Dice supports Google Assistant for voice control. When starting is like setting up an android mobile. At the end you will see Chromecast with Google Playstore, from where you can add various apps. You can add Kodi, Disney+, VLC player and many more. You cannot add directly Netflix, but through Kodi everytihng can be done! Since the Wemax Dice is a portablew projector, this means that is comes with a battery of 16000mAh, with enough power for a 3 hour movie to see. Now if you want to see a trilogy of for example LOTR, then yes, you will need electricity.The lamp can work for up to 30000 hours and supports Diffuse Reflection technology that protects yours eyes.

Geekom Mini IT8 mini pc came to me with post without any problem with customs. The mini pc was in a blue box, which included everything in. What I found opening the box!?

As you can see and from the images above, the version I received was with Intel core i5-8259U, with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of SSD M.2. At a price of 449$ at the site of Geekom, the mini pc is very compatible. Of course you can get it and in bigger variants, as this is the smaller. So you can find it with 8+512GB, 16+256GB and 16+512GB. As for the CPU, I know that is a little outdated, but it gives decent results where I have seen it and the mini pc comes with preinstalled Windows 11 Pro and something that I saw for the first time, it supports up to four monitor!

The mini pc is really small in dimensions. As I told you I already have 3 other and the mini pc from Geekom is smaller! With dimensions 11cm depth x 11.7cm wide x 5.5cm height, will occupy a really very small place in your office. Of course you can screw it at the back of your monitor with the VESA mounting plate and to occupy zero place on your office! For this reason I like the mini pc and prefer them from desktop or laptop.

At the back side of the mini pc you will find the socket for the power, the mini display port port, the Lan port which is control by Intel® 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2, a Type-C port and a HDMI port.

At the front side of the mini pc, on the right is the power button, next to it is the 3.5mm audio jack port, a USB 3.2 port, a Type-C port and a led that shows the activity of the HDD. On the one side you can find a SD card reader and on the other a Kensington lock.

Other specs that you must know are:

As you saw above, Geekom comes with preinstalled Windows 11 Pro. I, because I’m a member of the DEV team of the Windows 11, I installed all DEV updates to the pc without any problem. Now, unfortunately, apart from the Windows 11 Pro, inside you will find some bloatware installed from the company, such as TikTok, Prime Video, Facebook and Instagram, but you can easily remove them from the mini pc. If you don’t like Windows, you can install Linux. Press DEL while booting to enter BIOS and from there change the boot order and install from a external HDD or DVD Linux.

Opening the mini pc, gives you the ability to upgrade some things inside. Three of the four sides contain vents for cooling. As you saw I got the 8GB DDR4 RAM version but if you want to upgrade it, you can reach up to 32GB of SODIMM (laptop) DDR4 RAM. You can also put in a new NVMe drive (up to 1TB) and add a 2.5-inch SATA drive (up to 2TB) along the bottom. Reaching top numbers, can make you mini pc very powerful and candidate for a NAS server!

As you can understand and from the specs, Geekom Mini IT8 is not a gaming pc. You can do very comfortably office work and play with no heavy games, but up to that. Sure at the price of 449$ that you can buy it from Geekom eshop, is a very good price.

The AOHI Magcube 30W, is a USB-C Mini Fast PD Charger. Is compact and lightweight, designed to be carried even in your pocket. It offers 30 watts of USB Type-C power, so you can quickly charge your mobile. In comparison with a normal apple charger, it can charge your iPhone 6 times faster, something very good and important when you are looking for some life in your mobile. It also features an efficient gallium nitride (GaN) chipset.

The packages was small, since and the charger is small in dimensions. With no problem from the customs, the box that came to me, had on the front side an image of the charger, with the name of the company and the name of the company. On the back you could find some info about the charger  and at the sides,

Opening the package, inside you will find the AOHI mini charger, a welcome guide and a customer service. The mini charger is made out of matte black plastic. The small square box is very solid made, doesn’t get dirty from fingerprints and is very easy to clean if needed. The shape is not absolute square, but rectangular with rounded corners and edges, a clever design that eliminates hard edges and makes the case more durable. The sides, top and bottom of the case are completely smooth as you can see in the images. The name of the company “AOHI”, is printed in large silver letters on both sides. The front has a diamond structure with a horizontal led at the top and a Type-C USB port at the lower side. At the bottom you will find the specs of the charger. The dimensions of the charger are 2.8cm wide, 3.2cm high and 3.2cm thick. It weights less than 42.5gr, so carrying it even in your pocket is an easy thing to do!

The led on the front top side of the charger, changes color depending of what is doing at the moment. So if you see a yellow light, this means that is fast charging your device. If the color is blue, then the device is charged in normal speed. If it is green, then you have trickle charging. If you check my video you will see how the charger reacts with my Xiaomi 12 Pro that supports Super fast charging and the volts that pass through it.

The charger came to me without cable, so have in mind that you must have a Type-C to Type-C cable or depending what charging port you have. AOHI has an option where you can order the charger with a cable at a light higher price.

As the company says, the Magcube can deliver up to 30W, which is 5 times more from a standard apple charger. If you see an everyday android charger, usually they deliver up to 12W, which is 2.5 times less from the power of the AOHI Magcube mini charger. Of course not all devices can support the 30W, but more and more new devices are hungry for power and watt. In my video, Xiaomi 12 Pro is the most hungry in the market, since it can support up to 120W charging, so 30w is nothing for it, but can absurd the whole power and use it.

AOHI Magcube, except from power is taking under consideration and safety, something very important I thing for a charger. Sure I would like to explode in my face or next to my mobile and destroy it! AOHI for the Magcube 30W, the circuits inside are made from gallium nitride (GaN), a material initially used for solar panels. If you check, all good and expensive chargers are made from GaN and this because they are very efficient with less electricity wasted.

One more thing to mention here, if you check the eshop at the Amazon where you can find it or their e-shop, Magcube from AOHI is mention as PD mini charger. PD (Power Delivery), it means that the USB port that the charger has has the ability to deliver up to 100W if needed, Now, for the charger, you will need a special cable as the one I have for my Xiaomi 12 Pro that can support up to 120 or 100W and the I don’t know if the Magcube can give that power, since is mentioned as 30W. So I guess by this way the company wants to tell us that we must not fear, as the port supports much more watt from 30!

The Jamesdonkey RS4 mechanical keyboard came to me without any problem with customs. The box, a rather big one for to be able to contain the keyboard,. mentions the name of the company, JamesDonkey, has a big picture of the keyboard, with the name of the model at the top left side and below the picture to names it as Knight Wireless Gaming Keyboard. Just for the record, the RS4 is wired and wiresly (BT) working. At the back we can see again image of the keyboard, with some explanations, in chinese. From the image you must have understand that this a Tenkeyless AKA TKL keyboard.

Opening the package of the keyboard inside you will find the following:

• JAMESDONKEY RS4 mechanical keyboard
• A 2.4GHz USB dongle
• Braided USB-A to USB-C cable
• A USB Type-C to USB Type-A adapter
• Keycap puller

Although the body is made of plastic, it is built like a tank and looks very robust, with almost no crack or folding in the frame. Keycaps also seem solid. The type C connection is at the top and is properly hidden in the plastic body. The board weighs 780 grams and is quite thick and not very portable. On the left side of the keyboard is a dedicated volume control who looks like a turnable knob, along with two LED indicators. The lower display indicates charging status and the upper LED indicates connection mode.

So, the volume control, apart from turning it down or up, you can also click on it. By this way you can change easily the volume in your pc, without to stop the game or do something to block you from playing or doing your job. There’s also a customizable RGB strip that runs around the perimeter of the keyboard. You can also see the name of the brand at the lower right part of the keyboard. But and at the back will find switches, four, that help in functioning the keyboard. Turns on the keyboard, toggles the Bluetooth mode, toggles the RGB strip on/off and finally toggles the RGB keyboard on/off. The back plate is also made of plastic and comes with two plastic clips to increase the typing angle of the keyboard. Totally I have to say that RS4 is a very good and solid construction and if we take under consideration that is for the under the 100$ market, then I have to say that is the number one!

Starting typing you can hear the keyboard sound, like the old days. I have connected it and through cable and through BT and in both conditions the typing experience is unique! The JAMESDONKEY RS4 comes equipped with Gateron G Pro 2.0 Yellow switches. For the record there are three type of switches clicky (Blue switches), linear (Yellows or Reds) and tactile (brown switches), with the keynotes of the RS4 to be preferred specially by gamers. The RS4 is a full RGB keyboard with nine different lighting profiles (four RGB and five Red color-only) and nine lighting profiles in the RGB strip, which the keyboard remembers every time you turn it off and on again.

The keyboard features a 4000mAh battery, which when is fully charged it can last up to 80 hours and will turn all lights off. Now in real life these numbers are always smaller. The RS4 doesn’t have a dedicated battery indicator, but the Fn+B key combination can help you determine the battery. After using the combination, if the keyboard backlight turns green, the battery is between 70-100%. Blue indicates 30-70%, and red indicates 0-30%. When the battery is very low, the keyboard automatically shuts down RGB, and the battery indicator LED below the volume knob flashes red.

The YHE BP Doctor Pro smartwatch that came to me from Wearwiz, it can be a good and reliable solution to the correct measurement of your blood pressure. I know that are a lot of smartwatches that claim the same thing, but the YHE BP doctor Pro smartwatch has a big difference from all these, that makes it more reliable for the job. I will explain further below what I mean about it, after I same some things for the smartwatch as a smartwatch. The package came to me without any problems with the customs, so don’t fear.

The smartwatch features characteristics that can be found in all smartwatches, some good, some only to say that exist as menu, but to be honest, you are going to buy it mainly for these features. The smartwatch features a AMOLED 1.41″ screen, with resolution 320 x 350. Inside the watch you will find a Mediatek processor clocked at 208MHz. The dimensions of it are 54 x 38 x 12.9mm and it weights 81 gr! This number is big for smartwatch, but when I will tell you that is made out of Medi-grade stainless steel, you will agree with me, that is light! I doesn’t have a magnetic charger as all have, but with clip, to be more stable when charging and due to the weight I guess. The charger comes with a detachable cable Type A. This is a smart move, since if the type A port doesn’t work after some time, you can use a new one without any problem. Inside the package, apart from the smartwatch and the charger you will also find and a manual.

The smartwatch covers most of the features found and in other smartwatches, but not in plenty. So, it has only 3 sport modes, you can see in real time the weather, you can track your sleep, HRV. It has 5-6 languages only, you can set an alert directly from the watch. It has 4 watchfaces preinstalled, that you can change by press and swipe. You can find several more in the app, which is BP Doctor.

The smartwatch from sensors has a PPG heart rate sensor, Triaxial accelerometer, Gyroscope, pressure sensor. The pulse sensor and for the saturation, the sensors work very good, something that you can check and at the video in the end. As for the blood pressure, let me explain how all these works and we see a result on the screen of our smartwatch and why I accept as more correct and reliable the results from the YHE BP Doctor Pro smartwatch

Smartwatches use a red and a green light, to measure pulse, saturation and blood pressure. This technology is known as PPG. A photoplethysmogram (PPG) is an optically obtained plethysmogram that can be used to detect blood volume changes in the microvascular bed of tissue. A PPG is often obtained by using a pulse oximeter which illuminates the skin and measures changes in light absorption. A conventional pulse oximeter monitors the perfusion of blood to the dermis and subcutaneous tissue of the skin. Red light goes deeper in our skin and is used for measuring the saturation, when green is mainly for the pulse. For blood pressure we use both, but is not enough. So what is this number that the smartwatch shows us!?

This number is usually a relative measurement, with the data you inserted in the app (age, weight, height). The app using an algorithm can create a acceptable number for the blood pressure that at that moment, usually is correct……but no reliable. A simple black package, where on the top you see a photo of the two products you will find inside the package, while on the back you will find detailed info about the features of the doorbell and its camera. On the side you will find its main features highlighted.

The camera can detect a human or an object at a distance of 8 meters. If it is a human, you can use the two-way HD video calling to speak with them. Of course if you are busy and cannot answer, you can preset messages for speaking with them later.
