Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S26 FE, bringing several flagship-inspired features to the company’s more affordable Fan Edition lineup. The phone starts at $699.99, which is approximately RMB 4,704 based on the exchange rate cited in the original report.

The Galaxy S26 FE is also notable as the first Galaxy S26-series smartphone to ship with One UI 9 out of the box, giving Samsung an opportunity to introduce its latest software experience on a device positioned below the standard flagship models.

Rather than focusing on one dramatic hardware change, Samsung has upgraded several areas of the S26 FE, including the display, processor, battery system and camera capabilities.

6.7-Inch AMOLED Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate

The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X flat display with an FHD+ resolution.

The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, allowing animations, scrolling and compatible games to appear smoother than on conventional 60Hz displays.

Samsung also rates the display for up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. That should give the phone stronger visibility in bright outdoor environments, although actual brightness can vary depending on the content being displayed and the surrounding conditions.

The flat-screen design also maintains a familiar form factor for users who prefer a conventional smartphone rather than curved-edge displays.

Slim Body With IP68 Protection

Despite the large screen, the Galaxy S26 FE maintains a relatively slim profile.

The phone measures 161.6 × 76.9 × 7.4mm and weighs 193 grams.

Samsung offers the device in three colors: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio.

The handset also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, providing additional protection for everyday use.

The combination of a large display, relatively restrained thickness and IP68 protection makes the S26 FE feel closer to a mainstream flagship than a typical mid-range phone.

Exynos 2500 Brings 3nm Processing

One of the biggest hardware changes is hidden inside the device.

The Galaxy S26 FE is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, manufactured using a 3nm process.

The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and is available with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

Moving to a 3nm chipset gives Samsung the opportunity to improve performance and efficiency simultaneously, although the real-world results will depend on the processor architecture, software optimization and thermal management.

The 512GB version should also appeal to users who regularly store large photo libraries, videos, games and applications locally.

4,900mAh Battery With Multiple Charging Options

The Galaxy S26 FE packs a 4,900mAh battery.

Charging support includes 45W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and wireless reverse charging.

That combination gives users several ways to recharge the phone or share power with compatible accessories.

The 4,900mAh capacity is not particularly unusual for a modern large-screen smartphone, but the efficiency of the 3nm Exynos 2500 could play an important role in determining actual battery life.

As always, endurance will depend on factors such as display refresh rate, brightness, mobile connectivity, gaming and camera usage.

Triple Camera System Gets a Major Upgrade

Photography is another area where Samsung has focused on improving the Galaxy S26 FE.

The rear camera system consists of:

50MP main camera

12MP ultra-wide camera

8MP telephoto camera

Both the main and telephoto cameras support optical image stabilization (OIS).

The telephoto lens provides 3x optical zoom and can reach up to 30x digital zoom.

The combination should give the S26 FE more flexibility than a phone relying solely on a high-resolution primary sensor. Users can switch between standard, ultra-wide and telephoto perspectives depending on the scene.

The front camera has also been upgraded to 12MP and offers a wider field of view, making it easier to fit several people into a group selfie.

My FanCam Brings Automatic Subject Tracking to Video

One of the more unusual camera features on the Galaxy S26 FE is My FanCam.

The function was previously introduced on Samsung’s latest foldable devices and is now making its way to the Fan Edition lineup.

When recording video, users can select a particular person as the subject. The system then uses automatic recognition and tracking to follow that person throughout the recording.

Instead of requiring the user to manually keep the subject centered, the software can intelligently crop the footage to maintain the selected person near the middle of the frame.

This could be particularly useful at concerts, sporting events and other crowded environments, where keeping track of one specific person can be difficult.

The feature also demonstrates how Samsung is increasingly using computational photography and AI-assisted processing to improve the final result rather than relying entirely on camera hardware.

Super Steady Adds Horizon Locking

The Galaxy S26 FE also supports Samsung’s Super Steady stabilization mode.

This version adds horizon locking, designed to keep the video orientation more consistent while the phone is moving.

That could be useful when recording while walking, running or filming fast-moving activities where conventional stabilization may not be enough to prevent unwanted movement.

Combined with My FanCam, the S26 FE has a stronger emphasis on video recording than its specifications alone might suggest.

Nightography Targets Low-Light Shooting

Samsung has also included its Nightography technology for nighttime and low-light photography.

Night photography is often one of the areas where smartphone cameras show the largest differences, as the device has to balance brightness, noise reduction, color accuracy and detail.

The S26 FE’s combination of optical stabilization on the main camera and telephoto camera, computational processing and Nightography should give users more flexibility when shooting after dark.

However, actual image quality will ultimately depend on Samsung’s image-processing algorithms and the final tuning of the camera system.

A More Flagship-Like Fan Edition

The Galaxy S26 FE continues Samsung’s strategy of bringing selected flagship technologies to a lower-priced model.

At $699.99, it isn’t positioned as an entry-level smartphone. Instead, it targets users who want many of Samsung’s premium features without moving all the way up to the company’s most expensive flagship models.

The combination of a 6.7-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 3nm Exynos 2500, up to 512GB storage, wireless charging, IP68 protection and a versatile triple-camera setup gives the phone a relatively complete feature set.

More importantly, features such as My FanCam, horizon-locked Super Steady and Nightography give the S26 FE a stronger focus on practical photography and video use.

For buyers who prioritize a large AMOLED display, Samsung’s software ecosystem and versatile cameras, the Galaxy S26 FE could be one of the more balanced options in the company’s 2026 lineup.

What the Google Play Console Reveals

On August 17, tech blog YtechB spotted the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE (model SM-S741U) in the Google Play Console database. The listing confirms:

Processor: Exynos 2500

Graphics: Samsung Xclipse 950 GPU

Memory: 8GB RAM

Display: 1080 x 2340 pixels at 450 DPI

These are the confirmed specs—not rumors. The Play Console is a reliable source for pre-launch device information, as manufacturers must submit devices to Google for compatibility testing before release.

What’s Still Under Wraps

While the Play Console gives us a solid foundation, several key details remain unconfirmed:

Battery capacity (rumored to be ~4500mAh)

Camera setup (likely similar to S25 FE with minor upgrades)

Storage options (expected: 128GB / 256GB)

5G bands (region-specific variants)

Official release date (expected: late 2026)

The Exynos 2500: What to Expect

Samsung’s Exynos 2500 is built on a 3nm process and is expected to deliver:

~20% faster CPU performance over Exynos 2400

~30% better GPU efficiency (thanks to Xclipse 950)

Improved AI processing for on-device features

Better thermal management for sustained gaming

Pair that with the Xclipse 950 GPU—based on AMD RDNA architecture—and the S26 FE could be a solid performer for both daily tasks and mobile gaming.

Why This Matters: The FE Value Proposition

The Galaxy S26 FE sits in a unique spot in Samsung’s lineup:

Galaxy S26 Ultra

Premium

Galaxy S26 / S26+

Mid-Range

Galaxy A series

$300–$500

The FE series has traditionally offered flagship-level performance at a mid-range price. With the Exynos 2500 and 8GB RAM, the S26 FE looks poised to continue that legacy.

Color Options & Charging

According to additional leaks, the S26 FE will be available in:

Purple

Green

Black

Rumors also point to 45W wired fast charging, a welcome upgrade from the 25W on the previous FE model. That would bring the S26 FE in line with the flagship S26 series for charging speeds.

Wait if: You’re currently using a Galaxy S23 FE or older. The Exynos 2500 and 45W charging will be meaningful upgrades.

Igeekphone reported on March 16th that OPPO will officially launch its annual imaging flagship, Find X9 Ultra, in April. The most remarkable feature of this phone lies in its unprecedented telephoto system, and its configuration is considered a top-level standard in the current flagship phone market.

It is reported that the Find X9 Ultra is equipped with a 50-megapixel 10x telephoto lens and a 2-billion-pixel 3x telephoto lens. This is the only top-level flagship on the market that has consistently adopted the dual telephoto lens design.

The leak reveals that this 10x telephoto long-focus lens has an f/3.5 large aperture, and its actual light intake is approximately three times that of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This means that it can still maintain extremely high image quality when shooting at long distances in low light conditions.

This camera natively supports 10x optical zoom, which is equivalent to having an expensive physical telephoto lens integrated inside the body. Users do not need to purchase additional external accessories and can easily capture detailed images from a long distance, achieving true telephoto freedom.

Not only that, the 200 million pixel 3x telephoto zoom on the Find X9 Ultra has reached the top level of the industry. Its light-gathering capacity is significantly ahead of that of other Ultra models from other brands, providing unparalleled resolution for portraits and landscapes in the medium focal length range.
In terms of industrial design, the front panel of OPPO Find X9 Ultra features a high-quality 2K resolution straight screen. Combined with the sleek and exquisite right-angle metal frame, the overall visual effect of the device is very crisp and the feel is solid, with a high-end and business-like touch.

The rear of the body still adopts the highly recognizable circular lens module design. The overall shape is tough and full of industrial aesthetics. This design not only enhances brand recognition but also provides sufficient space for the complex dual periscope imaging system.

In terms of core configuration, OPPO Find X9 Ultra is equipped with the fifth-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition flagship platform. Its performance is extremely powerful, capable of easily handling all kinds of heavy-duty usage scenarios. Moreover, the top-of-the-line version will also support advanced satellite communication technology.

Tired of the tangled mess of chargers cluttering your desk, fighting for limited outlets, and never having quite enough power for all your gadgets? The Blitzwolf® BW-S31 240W 6-Port GaN USB PD Charger arrives as a potential game-changer. This isn’t just another multi-port adapter; it’s a powerful, intelligent charging station designed to be the single, sleek solution for powering your entire tech ecosystem – laptops, phones, tablets, watches, earbuds, and more. Let’s break down why the BW-S31 deserves a permanent spot on your workstation.

1. GaN Powerhouse: Small Size, Massive Output

GaN Technology: At its heart is Gallium Nitride (GaN) – a revolutionary semiconductor material that’s more efficient and generates less heat than traditional silicon. This allows the BW-S31 to pack an incredible 240W of total power into a remarkably compact and lightweight form factor. Say goodbye to bulky power bricks.

240W Total Power: This immense capacity is the key to simultaneously charging high-wattage devices like laptops alongside your phone, tablet, and accessories.

2. The Ultimate Port Lineup: Versatility Unleashed

The BW-S31 boasts a future-proof and incredibly versatile port configuration:

4x USB-C Ports:

USB-C1 & USB-C2: Full-featured Power Delivery (PD) ports capable of up to 100W each. This is enough to rapidly charge demanding laptops like the 16-inch MacBook Pro (96W), high-end Windows ultrabooks, or even power a compatible monitor.

USB-C3 & USB-C4: PD ports supporting up to 30W each. Perfect for fast charging most smartphones (iPhone 15/Pro, Samsung Galaxy S23/Ultra, Pixel), tablets (iPad Air/Pro), and other USB-C devices. Supports protocols like PD 3.0, PPS, QC4+, and AFC.

2x USB-A Ports:

Supporting up to 22.5W each with protocols like QC 3.0, AFC, FCP, SCP, and Apple 2.4A. Ideal for older phones, wireless earbuds cases (AirPods), smartwatches (Apple Watch), fitness trackers, or any legacy USB-A accessory.

3. Intelligent Dynamic Power Distribution: Smart Charging

This is where the BW-S31 truly shines. It doesn’t just dump power randomly; it intelligently allocates wattage based on device demand and connection order:

Priority to High Power: If you plug in a 100W laptop into USB-C1, it gets its full 100W.

Cascade Down: The remaining 140W is then distributed dynamically to the other ports as devices are connected and negotiate their needs.

Maximize Simultaneous Charging: It ensures all connected devices get the fastest possible charge their capabilities allow, without overloading the system. No more guessing which port to use for what.

4. The Game-Changing Digital Display

A standout feature that sets the BW-S31 apart:

Real-Time Power Monitoring: The integrated digital display clearly shows the total combined wattage (W) being drawn by all connected devices. This provides fascinating insight into your power consumption and confirms everything is charging optimally.

Voltage & Current Monitoring: Toggle the display to show the Voltage (V) and Current (A) output for each individual port. This is invaluable for tech enthusiasts diagnosing cable/device issues or simply understanding charging behavior.

Safety Assurance: Seeing stable numbers provides peace of mind.

5. Built for the Modern (and Future) Ecosystem

iPhone 16 Ready: Blitzwolf explicitly mentions compatibility with the upcoming iPhone 16 series, ensuring you’re future-proofed. Works flawlessly with iPhone 15/14/13 (PD fast charging), MagSafe accessories (via USB-C), iPads, and MacBooks.

Android Powerhouse: Fully supports fast charging protocols for Samsung Galaxy (Super Fast Charging 2.0 via PPS), Google Pixel, OnePlus (Warp Charge via USB-A potentially), Xiaomi, and more.

All Your Accessories: Powers AirPods, Apple Watch (faster charging via USB-C with a compatible cable), Android watches, Bluetooth speakers, power banks, etc.

6. Premium Design & Safety

Robust Build: Features a durable aluminum alloy casing that aids heat dissipation and feels premium.

Comprehensive Protections: Includes over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), over-temperature protection (OTP), short-circuit protection (SCP), and surge protection for ultimate device safety.

Foldable Plug (Region Specific): Often includes a foldable AC plug for better portability.

Who Needs the Blitzwolf BW-S31?

Laptop + Multiple Device Users: If you charge a MacBook Pro and a phone and a tablet and earbuds and a watch simultaneously.

Tech Professionals & Creatives: Demanding setups with multiple gadgets needing reliable, fast power.

Travelers: Replace all your chargers with one compact powerhouse (check plug compatibility).

Minimalists & Organization Enthusiasts: Eliminate cable clutter and reclaim desk space.

Families: A central charging hub for everyone’s devices.

Tech-Savvy Users: Who appreciate the insight from the digital display and smart power allocation.

If this question requires a simple “yes” or “no”, the answer is definitely a yes. The size of your phone screen matters because it will affect many things you do. Since its inception, mobile phone designs have revolved around its functionality. The goal, as always, is to enhance communication, mostly phone calls and text messaging at the time.

However, as human needs continue to change, the designs and applications of these devices towed the same path. In the early 90s, mobile phones typically had screen sizes of 1 to 2 inches. Undoubtedly, the focus was on the buttons, which took up most of the space.

Still, with every new release comes a significant improvement. The increase in screen display size continues to follow an upward trend. From 2 inches in the early days to 4.5 inches display in the early 2000s. Similarly, by 2010, smartphones with 5 inches were trendy. But they were described as phablets just to justify the size at the time.

Mobile phones have recently evolved into massive screens with no-button options. The market has witnessed the introduction of foldable and flip phones that offer up to 10 inches of display while maintaining their portability.

So, does the size of your mobile phone screen matter? It does. This article points out some benefits of large displays on your mobile device.

Enhanced Gaming Experience

Imagine playing your favorite Call of Duty, League of Legends, or Dota 2 on a flagship device like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra or the Google Pixel 7 Pro. These devices have an incredible display with accurate picture quality that will blow your mind. The larger the display size, the better the coverage. For instance, the gaming experience using Samsung Galaxy S10 is not the same when using a Note 22 Ultra.

The difference is more noticeable if you like to play games, particularly high-resolution video games and other types like live dealers. While streaming from live studios, the wider screen allows you to see the table from all angles. This is crucial to your success, especially when playing quality games.

There are numerous Australian online casino reviews that highlight the importance of playing with a wider screen. You will find the best Blackjacks, poker, and roulette games, and with the massive screen display, it feels like you are in a real casino. This is not the same when using phones with small displays because you do not see all the action, especially if the table has many players.

Improve Usability Experience for Content Creators

In today’s digital world of Tik Tok, Threads, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, millions of content creators work day and night to unleash their creativity. Mobile phones come in very handy for taking photos and recording videos. What’s more important for these users is having all the space on display to express their creativity when editing these photos and videos. Many graphic designers, artists, and video editors do a lot of creative stuff on their phones. The larger display provides more work space allowing for seamless manipulation of content, more visualization, and premise control.

Improved Multimedia Consumption

If you are the type that prefers to watch Netflix or YouTube on mobile, then you certainly want to use a larger display. Imagine seeing a movie on a 4-inch screen, say the iPhone 6s. The display quality is still excellent. However, you can’t compare the multimedia experience you get when using an iPhone 13 Pro Max or an iPad. The bigger screen provides a more realistic image and video quality which is not the same on smaller displays.

Easy Reading and Web Browsing

One of the many benefits of a larger display is allowing users to access more content at a glance. Especially when researching the web, reading, and interacting with the site is a lot more comfortable on larger screens. These modern devices allow users to split screens and access information simultaneously. For instance, you can visit a phone comparison site to compare the features of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the S22 to see if an upgrade is worth it.

Better for Photography

Although the camera grade on the phone contributes to its overall picture quality, the screen size and quality play even bigger roles. You need the screen to interpret the quality of the photo you have taken, and when it is not good enough, it doesn’t matter if you have a 200mp camera taking the shot. Larger screens suit professional photographers or photo enthusiasts who take many photos and do light editing on their phones.

Protection for the Eyes

Imagine reading texts on a small display. The font size is reduced to fit the screen, which can strain the eyes. This is a significant concern because most users spend long hours on their phones daily. On wider screens, the viewing angle is better and clearer, making it more comfortable to use for a long time.

Improved Productivity

One of the significant benefits of larger displays is that it allows for more productivity. It is easy to use mobile versions of productivity tools like Slack, Trello, Adobe Reader, Adobe Photoshop, and many more. Larger displays allow users to multitask with ease and access multiple apps at the same time. Writing emails, editing documents, and opening numerous windows is also possible. That way, you can quickly return to any of the apps easily.

Conclusion

Whether or not the size of a phone display counts is subject to personal preference. There are questions regarding portability and battery consumption. However, regarding performance in terms of gaming, productivity, multitasking, watching multimedia content, and overall visual experience, a larger screen display offers all of these advantages.

Whether you’re walking briskly, running, or capturing action shots, the gimbal ensures your footage remains silky smooth. This makes it ideal for dynamic scenarios like travel vlogging, dance videos, or even chasing after kids or pets. The stabilization tech rivals higher-priced competitors, offering cinematic results without the need for bulky equipment.
