This artistic approach may not satisfy photography purists, but it resonates well with the phone’s youthful target audience.

During our sample photography session, the weather provided a brief window of sunshine between heavy rainstorms, creating beautiful cotton-like clouds across the sky. However, the Reno16 occasionally struggled with these challenging high-contrast backlit scenes, producing images that were slightly underexposed—even when HDR was enabled.

Fortunately, this appears to be a software tuning issue rather than a hardware limitation, and we hope future firmware updates will improve HDR exposure performance.

4. Gaming & Performance: Smooth Performance for Popular Mobile Games

Frame rate fluctuations were virtually nonexistent, with only a brief dip occurring during the end-of-match animation. From the laning phase to large-scale team fights, gameplay remained exceptionally smooth.

Power efficiency was equally impressive:

These figures indicate that the phone achieves high frame rates without excessive power draw or unnecessary heat generation.

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is a much more demanding title, making it an excellent test of sustained performance.

Graphics were configured to the highest quality with the frame rate capped at 60 FPS, while Gaming Mode unlocked the phone’s full performance potential. OPPO also offers a Super Frame Rate feature that uses frame interpolation to produce smoother visuals beyond the game’s native frame rate.

During a 10-minute exploration session in Sumeru City, the Reno16 delivered an outstanding average frame rate of 89.75 FPS. Performance remained remarkably stable, with only two brief frame drops, and even the lowest recorded frame rate stayed above 60 FPS. Throughout the test, gameplay felt consistently fluid with no noticeable stuttering.

Power consumption during the session averaged:

• Energy per frame: 56.23mW

For a slim photography-focused smartphone, these results are excellent and demonstrate that the Reno16 is more than capable of handling today’s mainstream mobile games.

First, we used the AnTuTu stress test to push the OPPO K15 into a high-load state.

At this point, the phone felt noticeably hot in the hand.

Then we activated the cooling fan.

After 7 minutes:

The phone changed from hot to only slightly warm.

After waiting 12 minutes:

• Front temperature: 38.8°C
• Rear temperature: 36.5°C

Compared with the peak temperature of 46.5°C, the rear temperature dropped by approximately 10°C.

The thermal imaging results clearly showed that heat was being transferred away through the fan system.

The temperature around the cooling fan area was noticeably lower than other parts of the phone, proving that the fan was actively removing heat.

In testing, we created a custom “Parameter Comparison” workflow on a PC. The command automatically synced to the phone. After saying, “Compare the parameters of products A, B, and C,” Tianxi Claw collected the information, organized the data, and generated a comparison spreadsheet highlighting key differences—all without additional configuration.

The experience becomes even more convenient with background task execution. Users can start a report on their PC before leaving work and continue their day. By the time they access their phone later, the completed report is already synchronized and ready to review.

Performance Testing

The Lenovo Moto Razr Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 processor, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The hardware is optimized for multitasking, AI-powered applications, and productivity-focused workloads. A large VC cooling system helps maintain stable temperatures during extended use, ensuring smooth performance for office tasks, split-screen workflows, and video conferencing.

As a foldable flagship designed for productivity, the device prioritizes stability and power efficiency while still delivering strong gaming performance. To evaluate its real-world capabilities, we tested two popular titles: Honor of Kings and Genshin Impact.

Honor of Kings

Currently, Honor of Kings does not fully utilize the foldable display. Even with full-screen mode enabled, the game avoids the area around the front camera. A future OTA update may improve screen adaptation.

For testing, the game was set to its highest frame rate, ultra-high resolution, maximum graphics settings, and High-Performance Mode during a standard 5v5 match.

The Razr Fold maintained a near-constant 120fps throughout gameplay, with only minor fluctuations. Frame rates rarely dipped below 115fps, resulting in smooth combat, roaming, and jungle farming.

Power efficiency was equally impressive, with an average power draw of 2.59W and per-frame power consumption of 21.6mW.

Genshin Impact

For Genshin Impact, graphics were set to the highest preset with the frame rate capped at 60fps. The test consisted of a 10-minute run through Sumeru City in High-Performance Mode.

Performance remained highly stable throughout the session, averaging 59.8fps with just 0.7fps of fluctuation. Gameplay felt smooth and responsive, with no noticeable stuttering or frame drops.

The device recorded an average power consumption of 3.56W, while per-frame power consumption measured 59.5mW, demonstrating an effective balance between performance and efficiency even in a demanding open-world title.

Inside Game Space, you’ll find all installed games in one place. Some titles even feature custom backgrounds, adding a more immersive feel to the gaming environment.

Players can further customize their experience through the CUBE Energy Cube. Settings for performance, graphics, and controls can be adjusted individually for each game, making it easy to fine-tune gameplay based on personal preferences.

A notable addition is the row of PC and console gaming platform icons, including Steam, displayed within Game Space. Thanks to Red Magic’s translation engine, the 11S Pro+ goes beyond mobile gaming by supporting PC game emulation, effectively turning the device into a handheld gaming console.

We tested this feature by logging into a Steam account through a PC emulator. The Steam library was fully accessible, and downloading large games was surprisingly fast. For example, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, a game exceeding 50GB, completed installation in roughly 30 minutes.

In testing, The Witcher 3 ran locally at around 15–30 FPS, with smoother performance in indoor areas. While it’s not ideal for experiencing the full game on mobile, it’s still perfectly enjoyable for a quick round of Gwent.

Tomb Raider (2013) delivered a much better experience. Even with advanced hair effects enabled, the game maintained an average frame rate of about 50 FPS. Paired with a game controller, the experience felt remarkably close to playing on a PC.

Lighter games such as Stardew Valley are an even better fit for mobile play. They run smoothly, work well with virtual touch controls, and allow players to enjoy their favorite Steam games and mods wherever they go.

Gaming Performance

The Red Magic 11S Pro+ delivers smooth and responsive gameplay even without enabling its highest performance setting. The built-in dual shoulder triggers make advanced controls easier to use, especially in fast-paced competitive games.

Game Space includes a variety of useful tools that allow players to fine-tune performance, optimize graphics, and access AI-powered features such as Tactical Coach and Magic Girl Voice Actor.

For users who want maximum performance, the phone offers Destroyer Mode, which unlocks the full power of the hardware. However, it also increases power consumption and heat output, so it’s best used only when necessary. For our testing, we used Awakening Mode, which represents a more realistic everyday gaming scenario.

Honor of Kings

With graphics set to the highest settings and Awakening Mode enabled, the Red Magic 11S Pro+ maintained a near-perfect 144fps throughout a 5v5 match. Frame drops were minimal and only appeared briefly during the end-game animation. Gameplay remained consistently smooth.

Peace Elite

Running at the highest graphics settings, Peace Elite was limited to 60fps due to the game’s graphics mode. Even so, the frame rate stayed perfectly stable throughout gameplay, showing that the phone had plenty of performance headroom.

Genshin Impact

In Genshin Impact, graphics were set to the highest quality with a 60fps limit. Visuals looked impressive, with strong HDR effects, realistic lighting, and detailed environmental reflections.

During a 10-minute run through Sumeru City, the phone achieved an average frame rate of 61fps with excellent stability and almost no noticeable fluctuations.

Honkai: Star Rail

Using maximum graphics settings and a 60fps cap, we tested the game by continuously running through the Golden Hour area for 15 minutes. The average frame rate reached 60.7fps. While minor fluctuations appeared occasionally, they were brief and had little impact on overall smoothness.

Shoulder Trigger Experience

The customizable shoulder triggers are one of the phone’s standout gaming features. In most supported games, they can be mapped to on-screen controls, allowing players to enjoy advanced four-finger gameplay without a steep learning curve. Individual trigger profiles can also be configured for different games. Only a small number of competitive titles restrict trigger mapping to maintain fair gameplay.

Cooling and Temperature Performance

During our Honkai: Star Rail stress test, the highest recorded surface temperature was 41°C on the front and 40.1°C on the back. The phone felt only slightly warm during extended gaming sessions.

The active cooling fan and liquid cooling system worked effectively, helping the device maintain stable performance under heavy loads. Even during demanding gameplay, there were no signs of thermal throttling or noticeable frame drops.

Battery Life and Charging

The Red Magic 11S Pro+ packs a large 7500mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging along with 80W wireless charging. This combination delivers excellent battery endurance while keeping charging times impressively short. The built-in air and liquid cooling systems also help maintain stable and efficient wireless charging performance.

In Battery Dog’s battery endurance test, the Red Magic 11S Pro+ lasted 13 hours and 24 minutes under moderate to heavy usage, making it more than capable of handling a full day of gaming, streaming, and everyday tasks.

Using the included 120W GaN charger, the phone charged from 17% to 31% in just 5 minutes. It reached 50% in 15 minutes, 77% in 30 minutes, and 91% in 40 minutes. The charging speed then slowed to protect battery health, with a full charge completed in approximately 55 minutes.

Conclusion

The Red Magic 11S Pro+ takes mobile gaming to a new level, and its built-in PC emulator is easily one of its most impressive features. Players can log into their Steam accounts, download games directly, and enjoy PC titles without needing extra hardware or complicated setup processes.

This feature helps bridge the gap between mobile and PC gaming. Instead of being tied to a desktop, users can access a large portion of their Steam library right from their phone, making gaming more flexible and convenient wherever they are.

Of course, there are still some limitations. Running PC games on a smartphone relies on command translation, and factors such as hardware size, cooling constraints, and touchscreen controls mean that demanding AAA titles won’t always match the performance of a high-end gaming PC.

That said, the experience is surprisingly practical. During testing, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could run, though performance under heavy workloads was naturally limited compared to a desktop system. For lighter activities like playing Gwent, however, the game remained smooth and enjoyable. Many indie games perform even better, delivering stable frame rates and responsive controls. Older AAA titles, including Tomb Raider (2013), also run smoothly with solid optimization.

For players who want a more console-like experience, connecting a game controller instantly transforms the device into a capable handheld gaming system. This greatly improves control accuracy and makes PC gaming on the go far more enjoyable.

The strong gaming performance comes from the phone’s flagship hardware. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Ultra and supported by the CUBE gaming engine, the Red Magic 11S Pro+ delivers more than enough power for modern mobile games and demanding emulation workloads.

With the new OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, OnePlus takes a more focused approach instead of trying to deliver a typical all-around flagship experience. The phone is designed specifically around the needs of mobile gamers, especially shooting game players, with upgrades centered on real-world gaming performance.

One of its biggest highlights is the dual-form design. In everyday use, it works like a premium flagship smartphone with a slim body and high-end hardware. When paired with a dedicated gaming controller, it can switch into an esports-focused setup that delivers a handheld console-style gaming experience for longer sessions.

The display also supports 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and OnePlus Eye Protection technology. It carries TÜV Smart Eye Protection 5.0 certification, helping reduce eye strain during long gaming or media sessions.

The Ace Awakening color option uses a 3D stereoscopic etched finish on the back panel. The large ACE branding runs across the rear with subtle blue and purple lighting effects over a black surface, giving the phone a unique gaming-inspired look and a textured feel in hand.

On the rear, the metal-style camera module houses a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. A vertical LED flash and infrared sensor sit beside the module, while the ACE branding is placed below it.

Performance Testing

The OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra is powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset and features the self-developed Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel, which improves CPU, GPU, and memory scheduling for better gaming stability. Paired with the Glacier Cooling System, G2 Pro e-sports network chip, and Lingxi Touch Chip, the phone delivers stable frame rates, reliable connectivity, and fast touch response during long gaming sessions.

For testing, we used three popular mobile shooters: Peacekeeper Elite, Call of Duty: Mobile, and CrossFire: Legends. All games were tested at 165 FPS in a 26°C room with high-performance and esports modes enabled.

Peacekeeper Elite

The game was set to smooth graphics with 165 FPS enabled. During a classic 4-player squad match, the phone achieved an average frame rate of 165.7 FPS with a fluctuation index of just 0.1. The 1% low frame rate stayed at 145.5 FPS, keeping gameplay smooth during parachuting, driving, and intense final-circle fights.

Average power consumption reached 4.3W, while per-frame power usage was 26mW.

Call of Duty: Mobile

For Call of Duty: Mobile, graphics were set to standard with 165 165FPS enabled. Esports mode, super frame rate, and fast touch response were also activated.

Testing was done in the Nuketown multiplayer map. The frame rate stayed consistently around 165 FPS throughout the match, with an average of 165.6 FPS and a fluctuation index of 0.1. Gunfights felt smooth with almost no noticeable lag.

The game recorded an average power draw of 3 W and 18.2 mW power consumption per frame.

CrossFire: King of Guns

In CrossFire: Legends, the game was tested at medium graphics with 165 FPS enabled and Esports mode turned on. Testing took place on the Silent Village zombie map.

The phone maintained an average frame rate of 165.7 FPS with a fluctuation index of 0.1. Even the 1% low frame rate remained close to 150 FPS, delivering responsive movement, fast weapon switching, and smooth camera control. Average in-game power consumption was 2.37W, with per-frame power usage measured at 14.4mW.

Battery Life

We tested the S26+ using BatteryDog by Fast Technology, running a full workload that included CPU stress, multi-threading, AI tasks, image browsing, video playback, and web browsing. The tool also standardized conditions by setting brightness to 50%, disabling auto-brightness, and fixing volume at 30% for consistent results.

In testing, the S26+ dropped from 100% to 20% in 6 hours and 3 minutes. This equals roughly 7.5 hours of total screen-on use, which is enough for a full day of normal usage.

Charging performance is decent. Using a Samsung 45W wired charger (not included in the box), the phone fully charged from 0% in about 1 hour. It also supports 20W wireless charging and works well with Qi2 magnetic chargers for added convenience.
