After Qualcomm, Intel, Huawei, and Samsung released their latest chipset, Mediatek finally has leaked its 5G chipset, MTK Helio M70.
According to Sogi, Helio M70 will support 5G NR, conforming to 3GPP Release 15 independent network specification, the official version released this month, the downloading speed rate can reach 5Gbps.
Mediatek claims that Helio M70 will be ready in 2019, currently they have confirmed to cooperate with Nokia, NTT Docomo, China Mobile, Huawei, etc.
Previously, Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 is the first global 5G chipset, downloading speed rate up to 5Gbps, at MWC 2018, Huawei released Balong 5g01 is the first 5G chipset for commercial use based on 3GPP standard, up to 2.3Gbps.
