On August 23, OPPO released OPPO R17 in Shanghai, which is powered by Snapdragon 670 processor. And Today, the founder of the science and technology aesthetic released a Antutu comparison between Snapdragon 670 and the Snapdragon 710. So lets see what are the differences between both and which one will get the high score.
Both the Snapdragon 670 and the Snapdragon 710 is built on a 10nm process, using the Kryo 360 architecture and octa-core design (2 large cores + 6 small cores). The only differences we find are the frequency and the GPU. The CPU of the Snapdragon 670 is clocked at 2.0GHz, whereas, the CPU of the Snapdragon 710 is clocked at 2.2GHz.
Considering the GPU, we have a slightly lower GPU ‘Adreno 615‘ in SD 660 or we should say OPPO R17. Meanwhile, a slighter better GPU ‘Adreno 616’ features Snapdragon 670 / Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. The primary and secondary camera MP supports are slightly different. And Snapdragon 710 has a much faster cellular modem speed.
As shown in the figure above, the in AnTuTu Benchmark, Snapdragon 710 score is 160,995 (Xiaomi Mi 8 SE), and the Snapdragon 670 score is 156,594 (OPPO R17). The results are very close and the difference is of only 4401 points.
At present, the model equipped with the Snapdragon 670 is only the OPPO R17, and the model equipped with the Snapdragon 710 is Xiaomi 8 SE, as well as the Nut Pro 2S, 360 N7 Pro, OPPO R17 Pro, and vivo NEX Standard Edition. In addition, the Meizu 16x and Meizu X8 models that have not yet been released are equipped with the Snapdragon 710 processor.
