It’s known to all that Xiaomi has launched MIUI8 for a while, many mi users can update their smartphone to MIUI 8 instead MIUI 7 for better experience. Right now, we got the latest news that some xiaomi devices can not update MIUI 8 because they have obtained the source code of Android N. Therefore, they had started to work on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Of course, in other mi forums, Xiaomi has officially hinted that they are ready for Android N update. They’ve asked users if they would like multi-window support based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
More amazing news or rumor is that the next flagship Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will feature Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Mi Note 2 launch date is yet to be declared but the device is supposed to be launch in September.
But until now according to the leaked news, MIUI 9 development is almost finished and several devices will get the flavor of Android N near future.

- Mi 4
- Mi 4i
- Redmi Note 3
- Redmi Note 4
- Mi Note
- Redmi 2 Prime
Although this list is not official from Xiaomi but may this kind of assumption will come true in the near future. We will first report more regarding MIUI 9. Stay tuned.
