Xiaomi recently introduced the latest MIUI 11 custom user interface based on the latest Android 10 operating system. Earlier in the day, the company released a stable version of the MIUI 11 interface to 12 phones. He also suggested that the Global version will be released soon.
Now just a few days after the global launch of MIUI 11, Xu Jieyun, General Manager of Public Relations of the company, made a statement. He confirmed that Xiaomi has already begun work on the improved version of the new interface, MIUI 12.
We are in a truly embryonic stage of development for which there are absolutely no anticipations, and it is probable that until next spring at least there will be no important news on the matter. The launch of the new version is expected indicatively for the second half of 2020, also to allow users time to enjoy the new interface, which brings many new features both in terms of design and functions.
We recall that the newly introduced MIUI 11, which changes many things for the popular proprietary operating system, is also a great update for Xiaomi. Starting with visual features, it will come with slightly smoother icons, a system-wide dark mode, a new Mi Lan Pro system font, and always-on display functionality. There are also new animations, themes, wallpapers, and advanced notification systems.
It also focuses on enhancing the sound experience with completely new dynamic natural sound effects and alarms. Xiaomi also has a new Mi-Go Travel program to help you book tickets for a wide range of transport, from airplane to rail and bus, as well as exchange rate and an extreme power-saving mode.
