A few days ago, Aqara officially presented the new smart lock, Aqara N200. This new generational version of its previous N100, which has only been available from sources outside the brand. Today, this newly upgraded Aqara N200 smart door lock is officially on sale, priced at 1799 yuan (about $260).
As we see, it has a completely renovated design. Having more rectangular sides instead of circular. The functionality is similar, but, the things we interact with are much better. For example, fingerprint reader technology has been increased too, in addition to being more accurate, last much longer.
The new door locks still have Apple HomeKit security certification passed chips. The new Aqara N200 supports a doorbell function and one-button turn-on arming mode.
Aqara N200 Smart Door Lock uses integrated 3D semiconductor fingerprint recognition, naturally holding the handle and opening the door in one step. Its 3D semiconductor fingerprint recognition can effectively reduce the impact of skin damage on fingerprint recognition and prevent false fingerprint unlocking.
It is worth mentioning that the Aqara N200 smart door lock also won the German iF Design Award 2020. The jury evaluated this as a smarter and easier-to-use door lock for user identification and security management.
