Already from the very first announcements after only 1 month from the release of the current version. We already know the logo, while we know little of what will be the innovations introduced by software engineers. Just them are intensifying the work for the development of MIUI 12, as evidenced by the communication addressed to all developers.

With the latest beta patch of MIUI 20.3.23 in the Developer Edition version, the team shared a relevant message. This will be the last week of developer updates for MIUI 11, suggesting that MIUI 12 should now be the turn. Below the screenshot is what we read in the attached message:
As pointed out, there will be delays in the development of the latest Beta ROMs for Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Redmi Note 8. Delays that are partly also due to the Coronavirus emergency. A situation that is slowing down the technological supply chain in toto.
Going back to the MIUI 12, there are also those who have seen some clues on the MIUI official website. Trying to log in to Closed Beta testing, they displayed a prompt informing them not to meet the required conditions. A circumstance that usually happens just when a new version of the Xiaomi home UI is being prepared.
