Xiaomi yesterday announced its new Chinese and global launch event on March 29. This event could be the place where the company launches a new series of phones, including the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G model. Before the launch, the smartphone just visited China’s TENAA certification body, which revealed a few design images.
Accordingly, a Xiaomi smartphone with model number M2101K9C allegedly Mi 11 Lite 5G appeared on TENAA a few days ago. The listing did reveal a few specs of the device but we didn’t see a picture of it at the time. Now, the TENAA list of Mi 11 Lite has just been updated with full images.
The “Lite” variant of Mi 11 is listed on TENAA with 3 color options: green, yellow, and black. On the front, this phone will use an eye-catching perforated display with the selfie camera positioned in the top left corner. On the back, we have the Xiaomi and 5G logo confirming that it is indeed the Mi 11 Lite 5G variant. For those of you who do not know, this phone is expected to come with a 4G version expected to be released at a more affordable price.
In terms of specifications, the Mi 11 Lite 5G is listed to be 160.53 x 75.72 x 6.81mm with a 6.55-inch screen which, according to leaks, will be a 10-bit AMOLED panel, supporting Full-HD + resolution and speed 90Hz refresh rate.
Inside, this phone is said to come with an unreleased Snapdragon 775G processor, dual-band WiFi support, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, a 4250mAh battery with 33W charging. If the device were indeed to share specs from the 4G sibling, then it would have a triple-cameras on the back with A 64MP main + 8MP ultra + 5MP macro lens. On the front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera.
Additionally, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G could also have a Dual SIM support, and a MicroSD card slot, miss out on the 3.5mm jack. The phone, which will run on MIUI 12 platform based on Android 11 OS, is expected to be officially revealed on March 29. There is no information yet on whether the company will introduce its new model to the global market.
