    Assembling The Powerful Hardware For Destiny 2 And Setting Up The Game

    Why is there so much noise around Destiny 2? Firstly, there was always enough hype around it, besides, the series ceases to be a console exclusive and moves to the PC. And secondly, it is just very VERY beautiful.

    It’s definitely worth playing at least once. But which PC build will work best? Let’s discover together, but first, a few words about the game.

    Destiny 2 is a Sci-Fi-themed shooter with an emphasis on levels. Bungie, a Washington studio, launched the game back in 2017. The second part is far more engaging in terms of storytelling, and this makes it easier for newcomers to grasp the world.

    Destiny 2 is not a free project, like say, the common Warframe or Anthem games. Someone sees greedy developers in such projects, and someone sees it as a way to battle without a plethora of newbies. Nevertheless, over the almost five years on the market, the game has found its loyal audience that is ready to pay for an awesome gaming experience.

    What is its essence? There is a main character here who has retained the ability to control the Light. This is an ancient force that allowed a small group of surviving people to maintain their positions from devastation by alien invaders. But at one fine moment, some type brazenly blocks access to this very Light. Now you need to kill his assistants and himself with the forces of a small company of creatures.

    Nothing complicated or unusual. Here you’ll have to complete tasks alone or as a team, but note that some missions are designed for a crew passage only.

    In endless passages of the common missions, you can boost your character, get valuable loot and learn magic. For sure you can apply some Destiny 2 raid carries to fasten up the passage, and there is nothing to be ashamed of. Grinding is what you have to do 85% of the time.

    While moving over the maps, you will encounter various additional missions and random quests. If you see the flag, there will be a fight for which you’ll get a lucrative loot as a reward and gain experience after finishing the job.

    Plots will take you through all of the various planets, which will be diluted with great cut scenes, interesting character discussions, and hilarious situations.

    Gear requirements

    The system requirements for a PC are modest. The game may be played on a very low-end PC if desired. Destiny 2 is powered by its own Tiger Engine. It is tailored to online combat and the general gaming idea. This means that the creators didn’t have to hack the current engine to incorporate the essential mechanics. Everything runs well, with no freezes or lengthy downloads.

    The simplest PC build

    If you want to play in FullHD with the most minimal graphics settings, then choose this build. At the same time, the FPS will be in the region of 35-45 frames, less in batches, and more in a single passage. In general, it is playable, but don’t forget that the game is actively developing, and updates are released every year that expand the functionality, improve graphics and make Destiny more demanding.

    OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10;

    Processor: Intel Core i3-3250;

    RAM: 6 GB;

    Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / 1050;

    Disk space: 104 GB.

    Build recommended by gamers

    With this PC configuration, you may maximize all settings at FullHD resolution. In theory, a card with 4 GB of RAM should be sufficient for high settings, but to see the image in all its grandeur and with excellent FPS, you’ll need to set 1060.

    OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10;

    Processor: Intel Core i5-7400;

    RAM: 8 GB;

    Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB;

    Disk space: 104 GB.

    Maximum capacity build

    While developers are laying out system requirements for FullHD monitors, we have calculated how much computer power is needed to run the game in 2K resolution and maximum graphics settings.

    OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10;

    Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K;

    RAM: 8 GB;

    Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

    Disk space: 104 GB.

    Best possible hardware build

    This configuration is selected exclusively for fans of 4K gaming. Only in this way the game is revealed to the fullest. With one top card, the developers promise a consistently high FPS. Not all games are designed to work in this mode and require prohibitively powerful hardware to work. But the developers of Destiny 2 took care of the owners of ultra-large monitors.

    OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10;

    Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K;

    RAM: 8 GB;

    Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

    Disk space: 104 GB.

    ***

    As a rule, online games are not difficult to play. But a multi-hour raid might grow monotonous if you gaze at fuzzy graphics and simplistic animations all the way. This game must unquestionably be played at the highest visual settings.

    Because there are no e-sports or fierce PvP battles in the game, a high-resolution display won’t help you win. Furthermore, an enhanced FPS is not required; the regular 60 fps will do. However, for people who are accustomed to seeing more in games, a system capable of pulling out 140 frames or more is required.
