The WLtoys Q353 is a plane….no wait is a boat…..no again wrong is a car…..no that is not correct…..is a Aeroamphibious RC Quadcopter. For sure is the first time I review such a quadcopter. For sure you will not have any problem with it if it falls in the water – becomes boat, lands on the ground – it is a car or in the air – is a quadcopter, remember!?
Design
The WLtoys Q353 I guess you have already understood that is unique! The Q353 is a plane+boat+car all together. I guess only the picture below can give you an idea how exactly does all these and is all these at the same time. The WLtoys Q353 is equipped with a Brushed Motor. Is made out of PA, PP, POM, ABS and is RTF kit type. Unfortunately is not for novice, since it has a lot of features and is better to be an Intermediate to use it. The WLtoys Q353 weights only 323 grams and its dimensions are 36.50 x 36.50 x 12.00 cm.
Features
The WLtoys Q353 features a 2.4GHz Wireless Remote Control that uses 4-Channels to communicate. On the remote control the throttle is on the left, so is mode 2. You can control it up to 150 meters away. Features lights so it can fly during the night. It has 6 built-in gyroscopes. The WLtoys Q353 features Headless Mode, One Key Automatic Return, One Key Taking Off as special features.
Battery
The WLtoys Q353 is equipped with a 7.4V 1200mAh battery. When is fully charged, the quadcopter can fly for about 6~7mins. After that you will need about 120 minutes in order to fully charge it.
Conclusion
The WLtoys Q353 for sure is a unique quadcopter. Either you use it as a plane or a boat or a car, you will never get bored of it, as you will always will have to do something new.
