This afternoon, Huawei held the fall launch event of its Mate 50 series and full-scene new products, it has been two years after the official release of Huawei Mate 50 series.
In terms of ID design, Huawei Mate 50 inherits the iconic axisymmetrical star ring design of Mate, and integrates the design concept of Paris studs. The “Paris studs” on the back are integrated with the camera, bringing high-end and luxurious texture. We offer three colors: FROST SILVER, BRILLIANT GOLD BLACK and Lumen purple, as well as two plain skin versions: Kunlun Dawn and Kunlun Xiaguang.
The front of the phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED center hole screen with 2700*1224 resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, 1.07 billion color primary display, HDR and face unlock, and in-screen fingerprint.
It is worth mentioning that Huawei Mate 50 series supports Beidou satellite messaging hardware capability, which is the industry’s first mass smartphone that supports Beidou satellite messaging.
When you are in desert and unpopulated areas, in distress at sea, earthquake rescue and other environments without ground network signal coverage, you can send out text and location information through Changlian App, keep in touch with the outside world, and support multiple locations to generate trajectory maps.
For the image part, the new machine is equipped with 50 megapixel ultra light variable master camera, 13 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and 12 megapixel latent view telephoto lens, with 100x zoom range, supplemented by laser focus sensor.
The first 10 degrees of variable aperture of the new machine, the main camera has the largest F1.4 aperture in the industry, can achieve sub-millimeter segmentation accuracy, more natural dimming. With RYYB sensor, the photosensitivity is improved by 24%, and Huawei image XMAGE also launched.
In terms of battery life, Huawei Mate 50 has a built-in 4460mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charge, 50W wireless fast charge and 7.5W reverse charge.
Unlike other phones, the Mate 50 will smartly start the shaped energy pump for emergency use of low-power applications when the battery power is below 1%. It can support 3 hours of standby or 12 minutes of talk time, 10 flashes and 4 scans without harming battery life.
In terms of experience, thanks to the support of Harmony OS 3, Huawei Mate 50 series is the industry’s first hyperspace storage compression technology, which can identify and compress duplicate files used in multiple applications, saving up to 20GB of available space.
At the same time, the first version supports the super transfer station function, which can drag out any files such as pictures, documents and texts at a time. In pure mode, an application control center is added to identify the risk behaviors of installed applications intelligently.
The Privacy Center will advise users to close their permissions when they detect the unreasonable use of permissions. It also provides the image privacy protection function, which can erase sensitive information of pictures with one click.
It is reported that Huawei Mate 50 series all support IP68 level dust and water resistance, up to 6 meters.

Huawei Mate 50 will be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB configurations for 4,999 yuan, 5,499 yuan and 6,499 yuan, respectively. Two plain leather versions will be available for 5,699 yuan and 6,699 yuan for 256GB and 512GB, respectively, starting on September 21.
