Self-Developed Exynos Chips to Power Samsung Galaxy S24

Exciting news has emerged for Samsung fans eagerly anticipating the release of the Samsung Galaxy S24. With approximately six months to go until its release, it has been reported that Samsung MX Division is considering reusing their self-developed Exynos processor in the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

According to the famous tech leaker, Tech_Reve, Samsung may use the Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors in the Galaxy S24 series. These processors will be based on a 4nm manufacturing process and mark the comeback of the Exynos processor. This is undoubtedly exciting news for Samsung fans who have been eagerly awaiting the return of the Exynos.

Along with the processor news, Tech_Reve also hinted at the camera setup for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. The base and advanced models of the S24 series will have ISOCELL GN3 cameras, while the Ultra top model will no longer have 3x and 10x telephoto cameras. This move may indicate Samsung’s desire to simplify the camera setup while maintaining the quality of the pictures taken by the phone.

Moreover, the blogger also mentioned the potential release of the Galaxy S25, which could debut simultaneously as the Exynos 2500 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processors. These processors are based on a 3-nanometer manufacturing process, and the S25 will no longer use ISOCELL GN3 cameras. Instead, the new 200-megapixel sensor will bring several new technologies, such as 17nm process image sensors, electrode integration, and nanophotonics, to the table.

It is worth noting that it is still too early to speculate on the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25’s features, and Samsung’s system LSI department is working hard to solve the performance issues of the Exynos processor. There are still many possibilities for Samsung’s upcoming devices.

In conclusion, Samsung fans can expect significant developments in their upcoming Galaxy S24 and S25 models. The re-introduction of the Exynos processor, new camera setup, and the potential for substantial advancements in processor technology and camera capabilities will undoubtedly make these devices worth the wait. While it’s too early to make any concrete predictions, these rumors are certainly something to look forward to.
