On January 23, YouTube channel NL Tech recently released a video evaluating the performance and battery life of three Galaxy S24 series mobile phones, and tested the performance and battery life through mainstream running software.
The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models reviewed in this review both use Samsung’s self-developed Exynos 2400 chip, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip.
Note: The three Galaxy S24 series phones reviewed in this review all use the pre-release system version, so there is a difference between the running score and the actual retail version.
GeekBench 6
Geekbench 6 CPU tests show that Snapdragon 8gen 3 is slightly better on both single-core and multi-core scores. The difference in single-core results is negligible, while the multi-core results show that Qualcomm chips are slightly better.
In GPU tests, both the S24 and S24+ outperformed the Snapdragon 8-Gen 3 equipped S24 Ultra.
Antutu
Antutu test results show that the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chip inside the S24 Ultra wins, but the gap between the two chips is not large.
3D Mark
The S24 and S24+ models with Exynos processors in the Solar Bay stress test clearly won the test on the AMD RDNA 3-based Xclipse 940 GPU, and the Samsung chip slightly outperformed in thermal management.
The S24 Ultra was slightly better in the Wild Life Extreme test, and the Exynos device was more stable in the test.
