Igeekphone News, April 10: REDMI has officially announced that the REDMI Pad 2 SE will be released this month. It will be showcased at the same event as the REDMI K90 Max and the REDMI Book Pro 2026.
The new product is a budget-friendly entry-level tablet priced at 1,000 yuan. It features a 9.7-inch 2K ultra-clear LCD screen, which has received the triple eye-protection certification from TÜV Rheinland. It offers both portability and a superior visual experience.
It adopts a flagship metal all-in-one body and is equipped with a 7600mAh large battery. The official claims that it can achieve an extremely long standby time of 70.2 days, avoiding the awkward situation of finding out that the battery is dead when picking it up.

For comparison, the previous generation of Redmi Pad SE was released in September 2023, with a 6GB + 128GB configuration priced at 899 yuan.
The Redmi Pad SE features an all-in-one, seamless metal body. On the front, it is equipped with a 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1200*1920, supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen aspect ratio is 84.4% and the peak brightness is 400 nits.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 680 mobile platform and manufactured by TSMC using 6nm process technology, it is a mainstream configuration for entry-level tablets and comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage.

It is equipped with an 8000mAh ultra-large battery and supports 18W fast charging.
As a replacement product released after a three-year gap, the REDMI Pad 2 SE will see significant improvements in terms of performance, screen quality, and other aspects. It is worth looking forward to the final pricing.
