Igeekphone News, April 13: Huawei has announced that the Pura series and all-scenario new product launch event will be held on April 20, 2026, at 14:30. This event will focus on the Pura 90 series image flagship, presenting a comprehensive display of Huawei’s latest achievements in mobile imaging.
According to an industry blogger’s revelation, the Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max will be equipped with the Kirin 9030 Pro processor. This chip is regarded as the most powerful self-developed product in Huawei’s mobile phone history, marking another significant leap in Huawei’s semiconductor technology.

The Kirin 9030 Pro was initially launched by the Mate 80 series. It features an extremely innovative nine-core architecture design. Among them, the main core has a frequency of 2.75GHz, accompanied by a secondary core of 2.27GHz and an efficient small core of 1.72GHz. It can handle various high-load scenarios with ease.
At the industrial design level, the entire Pura 90 series will revert to the highly praised straight-screen design, while the distinctive triangular rear camera module, which is highly recognizable, will continue to be retained, becoming the family design language of this series.
To further enhance the visual quality, the new model not only returns to the classic gradient color process, but also adds a new color option called “Orange Sea”. This vibrant and multi-layered color combination, combined with the exquisite craftsmanship of the body, has once again pushed the appearance level of the Pura 90 series to the peak.
The image upgrade remains the highlight of this Pura series. The new products will be fully upgraded to the brand-new Hongfeng image system. Through more advanced algorithms and hardware collaboration, it will achieve a more realistic and natural color reproduction capability.

As the top-of-the-line model, the Pura 90 Pro Max will be equipped with a 200-megapixel telephoto lens featuring an ultra-large sensor. This top-level hardware specification indicates that this device will achieve a qualitative leap in terms of telephoto capabilities and low-light photography.
With its independently developed top-level chips, the classic straight-screen design, and the groundbreaking Red Maple imaging system, the Huawei Pura 90 series is gearing up and ready to once again usher in a revolutionary wave of imaging technology in the high-end smartphone market.
