Meizu’s flagship models, Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus, have not yet hit the market yet, and more information about the company’s next-generation smartphone comes with an additional rear screen. What exactly is known about the device called Meizu X2?
Playfuldroid posted photos of the smartphone that appeared on one of China’s social networking sites. Only photos of the rear panel are shown, but you can expect it to be the most interesting part of the design. The X2 has an extra screen like Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. This time it will be a circular display that will be in the middle of the top of the housing.
The images do not reveal too much detail, but it may prove that the extra panel is not touched sensitive. Its appearance is rather informative when the smartphone is facing downward – displaying notifications, date and time, and battery status (also when charging). I would not count on the ability to control the smartphone features offered by the 2-inch Super AMOLED panel in top Meizu models. All the more so that the X2 will be mid-priced devices.
