Yesterday Snapdragon 845 processor officially was been released. As the second 10nm SoC of Qualcomm, it has been upgraded to LPP, and uses latest Cortex A75/A55, GPU performance improves 30%, ugrading to Cat. 18, supporting 4K 60FPS, and 4K HDR 60FPS decoding. In addition, its audio, safety, power consumption, charging, ISP, etc all are improved.
Snapdragon 845 processor coming has made 10nm processor become more full of competition. Right now we can see their comparison with Kirin 970 and Apple A11. But we need to know Samsung Exynos 9810 has not been released officially. Currently we only know based on 10nm LPP and baseband will be first to support 6CA.
In comprehensive result, Snapdragon 845 is the most complete processor, because A11 uses plugin baseband and it removes X16 4X4 MIMO, the performance will not be better than Snapdragon 845.
To be frank, Snapdragon, Kirin, Exynos and Apple chipset don’t have to be compared, besides App processor and Baseband. And the former two use Android OS, the other uses IOS, two different platform in OS.
