The new Samsung Galaxy S9 will be launched with the Samsung Galaxy S9 +. Both terminals will repeat design practically 100% percent and will be presented in less than a week. We know this earlier because its design has been filtered before the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona. But far from it is the only information that, before time, has become known. There is also a leak that has uncovered the price of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+.
Less than a week after the official presentation of the new terminals, today we had the largest filtration of the Samsung Galaxy S9. So much so that we have remained to know only its price. However, a short time later we have read that they will be available for something more than the Galaxy S8. The published prices correspond to the Norwegian market, where they will be around 1,200 to 1,300 NOK more compared to the Galaxy S8 of the previous generation.
According to Quandt, the Galaxy S9 with 64 GB will be landing in Norway with a pricing of 8,790 NOK (Norwegian Krone) which converts to around ($1130) in the U.S. The 64 GB Galaxy S9+ will be costing 9790 NOK ($1260). Norway will be receiving the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in color options such as Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and the new Lilac Purple. It seems that the Titanium Grey color option won’t be available in the country.
The prices of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +, approximately 100 euros more expensive and the direct exchange according to currencies would take us to $154 more for the Galaxy S9, and $167 more in the case of the larger model and with more complete technical specifications. But we must bear in mind that their terminals are even more expensive than in Europe, and prices are notably higher compared to the United States. The estimates, therefore, suggest that the prices of the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be 100 Euros more for both the ‘base’ model and the Samsung Galaxy S9+.
It is not the first time that there is talk that they will be 100 Euros more expensive in Europe. And this leakage of prices in Norway, although with different figures, point to that same price rise. With this, both the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 + will be closer to the Galaxy Note 8 released at the end of last year. What you have to see, however, is if the Galaxy Note 8 goes down in price, or if it stays exactly the same.
