After announcing the OnePlus 5T, the company’s first smartphone with an 18: 9 format display, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to launch its next OnePlus 6 flagship. According to the latest rumors, the new device will arrive on the market with a screen/body ratio of about 90 %, with an aspect ratio of 19: 9 and a notch positioned on the top of the display.
The inclusion of Qualcomm’s latest and powerful Snapdragon 845 processor and a photographic portfolio improved compared to previous models, could further increase the price compared to the 5T. A photo leaked in the last hours, in addition to unveiling the key technical specifications, shows what could be the alleged selling price of the new OnePlus 6.
In the picture, you can see the new top of the range of Chinese brand flanked by other top-range phones such as iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S9 + and Huawei P20 Pro. The photo confirms that the smartphone will be moved by a Snapdragon 845 chipset supported by 8GB of RAM while internal storage would be 256GB. This could be the most powerful variant of the OnePlus 6.
Still, according to the image, the new Android smartphone will present a 6.2-inch diagonal display, a dual 16MP + 20MP rear camera and a Dash Charge quick charge support. In the picture, the OnePlus 6 is listed at a price of $749.
However, compared to other high-end smartphones that have more or less the same hardware features, the price would seem reasonable. A photo appeared earlier this year revealed that the device could come with a “Notch” located at the top of the screen, styled iPhone X.
The same photo also confirmed the presence of a second variant with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory and the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system customized with the latest version of the Oxygen OS. Recent rumors say that the OnePlus 6 would come on the market with some interesting new features including an integrated fingerprint reader under the screen and 3D facial recognition.

Despite this, this last feature may not be as advanced as the Face ID of the iPhone X. As for the presentation date, OnePlus could unveil its new OnePlus 6 around June.
