As we often see smartphone makers working on models that come running with Android Go, now it’s ASUS‘s turn to debut in that area. The Taiwanese manufacturer has just announced its first smartphone with Android Go, ZenFone Live L1.
The brand’s new device has entry-level features, yet carries an interesting set of hardware, and can quietly cater to those who are looking for a more moderate handset, not requiring too many features.
Android Go is a simplified version of the Android O system that runs smoothly on low-end Android devices. It is mainly composed of three parts: lightweight Android system, Google Go series comes with applications and designed specifically for the low-end device Google Play Store, to ensure that the system runs smoothly on 1GB or even 512MB memory devices.
The ZenFone Live L1 comes with a 5.5-inch screen with Snapdragon 425 chipset and 1GB of RAM, the device also has another variant with 2GB of RAM, but this does not come with Android Go, and yes Android Oreo common. For internal storage, it has 16GB, and for cameras, there is a main sensor of 13MP, while the front sensor is 5MP and its battery capacity is 3000mAh.
Price and Availability
In terms of the launch date, ASUS ZenFone Live L1 will be available in mid-May and it will arrive first in Indonesia and later in some European countries. It is estimated that the price requested for the novelty is $129.
