On February 8, Canon announced the EOS R50, a new APS-C format youth-focused microcamera.
The camera has two body colors, black and white. The body is compact and light. The white body only weighs about 329 grams, which is very easy to carry.
EOS R50 has a wealth of intelligent shooting functions, easy to use, suitable for the first contact with the camera photography novice. Whether you want to record your daily life or start a journey of “we media”, you can easily use it.
The EOS R50 uses an APS-C image sensor of about 24.2 million effective pixels, coupled with a high-performance DIGIC X digital image processor, and a variety of image quality enhancements including digital lens optimization, to reproduce the original texture and dimension of the picture, and present high-quality photos and short films.
The EOS R50 supports non-cutting 6K hypersampling 4K/30P short film recording function, which can present high-quality dynamic images with more details. It also supports full HD 120P slow motion recording.
It is equipped with the second generation of full pixel dual-core autofocus, which enables fast and accurate autofocus and tracking of the subject across the entire frame, even when the electronic shutter speed is up to 15 photos per second.
It also features the EOS iTR AF X (Intelligent Tracking and Recognition System), which enables the EOS R50 to detect and recognize multiple subject types, including people, cats, dogs, birds, motorcycles or four-wheel racing cars, and automatically detect, recognize, and track in focus.
The EOS R50 is also supported by a wide array of lenses, including RF-S lenses, multiple RF lenses and a large lineup of EF/EF-S lenses using the EF-EOS R bayonet adapter.

In terms of price, the market suggested retail price of Canon EOS R50 body is 4,599 yuan, $676 and the market suggested retail price of EOS R50 set (including RF-S18-45 lens) is 5,599 yuan,$823.
