Although smartphone field is full of competition, there are still some new manufacturers entering into this old field, even Gome has been ready to release their own brand phone. Currently, there is a Gome K1 starting to preordering, selling at 2,699 yuan, $449.
According to photos, this smartphone adopts traditional design, fingerprint scanner on the front, using metal material, and sleek design. According to official, Gome K1 uses 2.75D glass screen, which looks more natural and stereo compared with 2.5 D displaying effect, even looking like curved screen. Meanwhile, it supports Iris recognition.
As for specs, it has 5.2 inch 1080P screen, powered by Helio P20 Octa core 2.3GHz processor, built in RAM 4GB ROM 64GB internal storage, coming with dual camera, 16MP back and 8MP front, built in 3,500mAh battery, supporting 5V/5A (25W) quick charge and dual SIM dual standby, netcom. Gome K1 sells at 2,699 yuan, $449, but we have no idea about its availability date.
Besides Gome K1, they also release a mid-range smartphone, Gome U1. There is no surprise in the design. As for specs, Gome U1 adopts 5.5 inch 1080P screen, powered by Octa core 1.8GHz processor, built in RAM 3GB/4GB internal storage, ROM 32GB/64GB internal storage, coming with dual camera, 8MP front and 13MP back, built in 3,050mAh battery, supporting quick charge and dual sim card dual standby, netcom.
Gome U1 also supports Iris recognition like that of Gome U1, but U1 fingerprint scanner is on the back. As for price, Gome U1 3+32GB sells at 1,699 yuan ($250), 4GB+64GB at 1,999 yuan($333).
