Igeekphone News, August 19th: Technology media SmartPrix published a blog post today (August 19th), sharing a set of renderings showcasing the OPPO Find X9 Pro phone. It is expected to be released in China in September or October, and the Indian version is expected to be launched at the end of November.
In terms of imaging, it is reported that the number of cameras of the OPPO Find X9 Pro mobile phone has been reduced from 4 to 3, but it will be equipped with a larger-sized sensor and a larger aperture.
In terms of the main camera, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel SONY LYT828 sensor, with a size of 1/1.28 inches, a 23mm focal length and an f/1.5 ultra-large aperture. The light intake has increased by 48% compared to the previous generation. Compared with the LYT808 sensor of the previous generation Find X8 Pro, the X9 Pro has significant improvements in both parameters and actual shooting performance.

In terms of telephoto, the Find X9 Pro is equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 telephoto lens, with a sensor size of 1/1.56 inches, an f/2.1 aperture, a 70mm focal length, and supports 3x optical zoom. What’s even more eye-catching is the minimum focusing distance of 10cm, which enables true telephoto macro shooting, far exceeding the previous generation’s macro capability of 42cm.
In terms of ultra-wide-angle, the Find X9 Pro has been upgraded to a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 (1/2.76 inches, f/2.0, 15mm), supporting 3cm macro and autofocus.
In terms of the front camera, the Find X9 Pro also adopts the JN5 sensor, achieving a high pixel count of 50 million. It also introduces the autofocus function for the first time, significantly enhancing the clarity of selfies and the background blur experience.

OPPO continues to collaborate with Hasselblad to enhance color science and image algorithms, and conduct professional-level tuning of imaging styles. Although the original quad-camera setup has been cancelled, with a larger sensor and innovative features, the Find X9 Pro is expected to become one of the Android camera flagphones in 2025.
