Today Oppo has announced that we can expect the Oppo Reno 6 and 6 Pro in Europe. In the meantime, invitations have been sent for an event on Thursday 9 September from 10:30. This is an online event. The smartphone has already been released for other markets.

The Oppo Reno 6 is available in two colors and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip. Onboard you will find 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which cannot be expanded with a memory card. The screen is 6.41 inches in size, has a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels, and refreshes up to 90 times per second. It is an AMOLED display, which makes the colors splash and the contrast is very good.
Selfies are made of 32MP and on the back, you will find another three cameras. The primary variant has a resolution of 64MP. You use the other two for close-up photos or to take shots at a wider angle. Charging the 4300mAh battery is done with a maximum of 65 Watts. Oppo delivers the Reno 6 with Android 11, over which the proprietary ColorOS shell is overlaid.
The Reno 6 Pro model is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip, which is slightly more powerful. That processor can also be found in the recently presented OnePlus Nord 2. There is 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. The screen is slightly larger, has slightly rounded screen edges, and offers the same resolution and refresh rate as the Reno 6.
There is an extra camera on the back, with which you can capture just a little more contrast. Charging the battery (4500mAh) also goes with 65 Watt. You will receive updates for at least two years from the release date of the devices. We, therefore, expect Android 12 and 13. In addition, three years of security updates of the party.
A European price for Oppo Reno 6 and 6 Pro is as yet unknown. but on September 9, we will know all information about the new smartphone from Oppo.
