Today, Lenovo launched the ThinkPad E15 2022 business notebook. The only change compared to the 2021 model is that the processor is upgraded to a 12th-generation Core.
The model can choose i5-1240P or i7-1260P, both of which are designed with 12 cores and 16 threads. The i7-1260P has a maximum turbo frequency of 4.7GHz and an L3 cache of 18MB, which is slightly better in performance.
Except for the CPU, the 2022 ThinkPad E15 is exactly the same as the 2021 model in terms of ID design and configuration. Both products use a 15.6-inch 1080 display with 100% sRGB high color gamut and DC dimming and have a 7.6mm narrow bezel and an 85% screen-to-body ratio.
In terms of hardware configuration, both notebooks have 16GB of memory and 512GB SSD and use Intel Xe integrated graphics. In other respects, both products support Dolby sound and have Harman-tuned speakers, and even the connector positions remain the same.

In terms of price, the starting price of the ThinkPad E15 2022 starts at 5,199 yuan, and the 2021 model starts at 4,999 yuan. Whether it is worth adding an extra 200 yuan to change the CPU is left to the consumer’s judgment.
