The Xiaomi Mi 14 mobile phone officially launched at the new product conference this evening. It starts at a price of 3,999 yuan.
Xiaomi Mi 14 features a 6.36-inch small screen with the narrowest 1.61mm upright frame and rounded corners. It’s available in four colors: black, white, rock green, and snow mountain pink. The glass version is 8.29mm thick and weighs 193g, while the nano leather version is 8.28mm thick and weighs 188g.
The Xiaomi Mi 14 debuts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with a new 1+5+2 architecture. It includes 1× 3.3GHz Cortex-X4, 3× 3.15GHz Cortex-A720, 2× 2.96GHz Cortex-A720, and 2× 2.27GHz Cortex-A520.
Xiaomi claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU performance improved by 32% and power consumption reduced by 34%. GPU performance also improved by 34%, with a 38% reduction in power consumption. The Xiaomi Mi 14 “Genshin Impact” game achieved an average frame rate of 59.53FPS in 30 minutes, with a maximum temperature of 43.2°C.
In terms of imaging, the Xiaomi Mi 14 features a new generation Leica Summilux lens with an f/1.6 aperture and a 7P aspherical high-lens lens. Additionally, Xiaomi introduced a “Light and Shadow Hunter” image sensor specifically for this lens.
The 50MP “Light Hunter 900” sensor, with OIS optical image stabilization, is 1/1.31 inches in size and is paired with a Leica Optical Summilux lens, increasing light sensitivity by 180%.
The Xiaomi Mi 14 includes a 50MP ultra-wide-angle, 50MP telephoto with OIS, and a 32MP front-facing lens. The 75mm Leica telephoto lens uses a floating lens for long shots and close-ups.
Xiaomi Mi 14 boasts a 6.36-inch 2670×1200 OLED direct screen developed by Xiaomi and TCL CSOT, using CSOT C8 luminescent material. The screen has a 1.5K resolution and a PPI of 460PPI, providing a similar experience to the iPhone 15 Pro.
The screen is made of C8 material, reaching 3000 nits brightness, supporting a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and reducing power consumption by 17%. It has narrower borders and a brighter screen compared to the iPhone 15 Pro.
