We already reported that Xiaomi will not represent its Mi 7 flagship at the MWC 2018 exhibition this month. But we expect that the Chinese manufacturer will still show in Barcelona several new smartphones. It is assumed that this will be the Mi MiX 2S and Mi 6X models. It is also possible that these devices can be announced even before the start of the exhibition. Over the past few days, we have repeatedly observed how new images and even technical characteristics of each of them appear on the network. And today we again talked about the design of the Xiaomi Mi 6X.
Today in the social network Weibo, one of the users shared a photo, which allegedly shows a cover for the Xiaomi Mi 6X. He was found in one of the stores when the buyer tried to find protective accessories for his Mi Note 3.
So, the protective cover, which you can see on the photo, corresponds to all the previously merged images of the Mi 6X. There is also a vertical cutout in the upper left for the dual rear camera and a circular cutout in the center for the fingerprint scanner.
Most recently, we also published an image of a smartphone in golden color with the Xiaomi logo and a dual main camera, located vertically in the top left corner. Apparently, this was just the Mi 6X. At least, the phone in the picture corresponds to everything that was said about this model before.
Recall last year the Chinese manufacturer introduced Xiaomi Mi 5X in the middle of summer. And in the early autumn came the Mi A1, which received identical specifications and design, but pure Android 7.1 Nougat instead of the original MIUI 9 shell.

The exact date of release and the characteristics of Xiaomi Mi 6X remains a secret. We assume that it is this smartphone that debuts the company’s Xiaomi chipset of the 2nd-generation Surge S2. We can only hope that the Chinese company will show the smartphone this month.
