After the release of premium Oppo Find X, the company will continue its brisk campaign to the smartphone market. It is rumored that by the end of this month it will introduce new Oppo R17, where the first one, like its predecessors, will claim the title of the most popular mobile phone in China.
OPPO R17 will be the successor version of R15 – a high-end smartphone launched in March 2018. But the design of the OPPO R17 is even more modern with the compact notch, quite similar to the Essential PH-1. The image shows both the front and back of OPPO R17.
On the front, the OPPO R17 has a modern design with overflow screen, tiny notch, and only a single camera. The back of the R17 is glossy, with a curved edge similar to Find X, but the camera is different. If the image leakage is accurate then OPPO R17 will integrate ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. A few days ago, OPPO R17 also appeared at a media event in China. Despite some reports on R17, OPPO has not confirmed this smartphone yet.
OPPO will have a launch event for F9 and F9 Pro on August 15th, possibly at the event, R17 also revealed some information. Let’s wait patiently. It is reported that the Oppo R17 and R17 Pro will receive a platform Snapdragon 710, 6GB RAM and 128GB of permanent memory, a dual rear camera, where the main sensor at 16MP with a record f / 1.4 diaphragm. Distinctive features of the Pro-version will be support for fast charging with a capacity of 50W, 3D-identification system O-Face and promise a price tag of $585. For Oppo R17 will ask for $438.
