360 has released the annual flagship smartphone, 360 Q5 and 360 Q5 Plus today, and they also have offered Safeswitch solution with Qualcomm, and 360 OS 2.0. Q series is the brand new line of 360 smartphone, emphasizing quality, safety, and contents and supports different kinds of information protection.
In phone communication, it supports encryption transmission and forbid others to record voice, and limit others to use receiver to answer the call and destroyed automatically both conversation record. In addition, they both can support fingerprint scanner. After taking SIM card out, the phone will be locked in 30 seconds, and disconnect the data by USB cable. After 60 minutes, they can remove the transmission data.
They takes SafeSwitch hardware safe solution with Qualcomm. Meanwhile, the phone has independent safe chipset certificated by German EAL 5 institution. 360 OS 2.0 provides interface and privacy two modes which can be switched freely by fingerprint scanner, and the data is independent by two modes.
Privacy mode supports the third apps, OS app and other split function and encrypt by built-in chipset safely. Q5 and Q5 Plus both takes metal unibody and curved design, back fingerprint scanner, dual rear camera both use CNC craftsmanship and 2.5D curved glass.
In specs, 360 Q5 Plus adopts 6inch Super AMOLED screen, 2.7mm ultra bezel, powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, RAM 6GB ROM 128GB, 3,700mAh batter and QC3.0, dual sim card, dual standby, 7 module and 18 frequency netcom.
They both have dual rear camera 2.0, 13MP black and white + color dual rear camera, F2.0 aperture, 3D photo taking that can be watched by VR glass. They have 13MP front camera to support soft light for taking selfies.
360 Q5 has 5.5inch Super AMOLED screen, powered by Snapdragon 652 processor, RAM 4GB ROM 128GB, 3200mAh battery.
As for price, 360 Q5 standard version sells at 1999 yuan, $333, 360 Q5 Plus RAM 4GB ROM 128GB at 2599 yuan, $433, RAM 6GB ROM 128GB at 2799 yuan, $466, and they will start to sell at 10:00 a.m. [GMT+8] on August 30.
