Today, Meizu introduced the new Note 8 smartphone. It was equipped with a large display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a dual camera with Sony sensors and high-aperture optics, a high-capacity battery, and support for two SIM cards.
Meizu Note 8 received a 6-inch IPS-screen with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, made by technology IGZO, providing accurate white color. The “heart” of the smartphone is the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor with eight Kryo 250 cores up to 1.8 GHz and an Adreno 506 graphics accelerator. The RAM capacity is 4GB and the amount of internal storage is 64GB, and if necessary it can be expanded using a microSD card.
Above the screen is an 8MP front camera with a maximum f / 2.0 aperture. The novelty is equipped with a dual rear camera with a main 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor and an aperture lens f.1 / 9 and an auxiliary 5MP module for measuring the depth of field and background blur in portrait mode. High-aperture optics can take pictures even in low light conditions.
The new Note 8 is equipped with a battery capacity of 3600mAh, supporting the function of fast charging. Thanks to the optimization and energy efficient Qualcomm processor, the smartphone runs 10% longer than the M6 Note with a 4000mAh battery.
The device is made in a monolithic metal case with a fingerprint scanner on the back side. Like all new models of the company, it supports three options for controlling the device interface: the traditional three-button version from Google with on-screen buttons, the virtual multifunction key mBack, and gesture control.
The smartphone runs on Android Oreo with the proprietary shell of the new generation Flyme 7. The latter offers gesture control, various styles for creating themes, the ability to back up settings and user data, call recording and the built-in antivirus in the Security application.
The Meizu Note 8 is already available in the preorder at home, in the configuration only 4/64 GB (and in the colors Black, Blue, Red, and Violet) at a price of 1298 yuan (about $186) Real sales will start from November 1st.
