As expected, Huawei introduced the Honor 10 Lite smartphone in China today. This is a simplified and almost twice cheaper version of the Honor 10 smartphone that debuted this spring.
The Honor 10 Lite returns some four months after the “normal”, which is based but on which changes have been made to reduce the cost and update the design according to the latest trends. The sketch changes are obvious enough when he comes face to face with his older brother.
The notch is drop-shaped to accommodate a single 24MP front sensor. Taking advantage of the occasion, the screen continues the conquest of all available space, reaching a negligible ratio of 90% (according to own measurements).
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.21-inch IPS-display with a resolution of Full HD + (2340 x 1080 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, a dual main camera of 13MP + 2MP, a front-facing camera of 24MP. Features based on artificial intelligence.
The hardware is based on the eight-core Kirin 710 processor, 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal flash memory, which can be expanded with microSD cards up to 256GB. The battery has a capacity of 3400mAh.
Two SIM cards, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS are supported. The smartphone runs on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system with an EMUI 9 shell. The dimensions are 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95 mm and the weight is 162 grams.
The Honor ten Lite will be free in the following colors : Midnight Black (black), Lily White (white), Gradient Blue (blue) and Gradient Red (red), these last 2 with gradients of color. For the moment we have no further inquiry about its probable distribution outside of China . It will be offered in versions with four and 6GB of RAM and 64GB and 128 GB of storage.
The cost of Honor 10 Lite is 1399 yuan (just over $201) for the base model with 4GB of RAM, and a 6GB configuration with 64GB of memory will cost 1699 yuan ($244). The top model with 6GB + 128GB is estimated at 1899 yuan (about $273)
