It is obvious that Sony is bringing something into their hands. In recent days we have known both the design and specifications of the Xperia XZ4, its next flagship. However, its trimmed version does not want to be left behind and that is how the Xperia XZ4 Compact is now the new protagonist. It turns out that the first renders corresponding to this team are circulating on the web. In addition, some of its technical specifications have also already come to light, in an estimated way, of course.
The images and video show that the Xperia XZ4 Compact gets a 5-inch screen with relatively thick edges at the top and bottom. It is striking that Sony does not go for the notch, like a lot of other Android manufacturers, but stick to the classic design. The dimensions of this Sony Xperia XZ4 Compact will be 139.9 x 66.5 x 9.3 mm.
If we place the phone with the screen facing us, then we can describe to you that the on / off button will be on its right side. Most likely, that same button will work as a fingerprint sensor.
The camera includes a camera and a dual speaker in the upper bezel in addition to the camera for a selfie and an LED flash. On the back, we find one camera, in contrast to the Xperia XZ4, which according to the renders has no less than three sensors. Nothing is known about specific functions or the resolution of the camera.
At the bottom of the device we can see a Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack, so you do not need a connector or wireless earplugs to listen to music. Earlier it was said that the regular Xperia XZ4 also has an audio input. It is striking that Sony equip both devices with this because manufacturers increasingly omit the headphone connection to make phones thinner.
The smartphone connector is still in the dark as far as specifications are concerned. However, it seems plausible that the Compact in terms of power is about equivalent to the Xperia XZ4. This means that the device will probably be equipped with a Snapdragon 855 chip, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Last October, Sony released the Xperia XZ3, making the renders of its successors appear online well before the release.
