With a segment, the average of the market, at the limit of saturation, the new telephone proposals must focus on an element capable of arousing the “wow” effect, to stand out: Elephone focuses on 3D content, with the next Elephone P11 3D. ELEPHONE P11 3D is surely a quite interesting concept, but for many people, it’s pretty tricky to imagine all the benefits of such a solution. Elephone released a new official video with the introduction for this phone showing more of the details focusing on appearance, camera and of course mainly playback of the 3D movies on the big screen.
The 3D screen is the main selling point of the device and I am happy to say that, even if we take that away, the screen seems pretty decent. It has a FullHD+ resolution with 1080×2160 pixels. It measures 6? in diagonal and does not have a notch or a hole in it. This is good news for people that hated this trend, but it does mean that the Elephone P11 has a more traditional look. Even so, the top and bottom chins are not that big, maybe similar to the Huawei P10.
ELEPHONE P11 3D uses 6-inch 18:9 Incell screen with a new generation of 3D screen luminescent material, wide color gamut, FHD+ resolution, and naturally curved 2.75D display. Design-wise the phone is coming with very narrow top and bottom bezels, but the chin still has enough space to house a fingerprint scanner up front. Inside the phone has deca-core Helio X25 processor coupled with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, 16MP+2MP dual rear cameras, 8MP selfie shooter, USB Type-C port, 3200 mAh battery capacity, and hybrid dual SIM slot.
Yes, this is not the most powerful smartphone on the market, but the $169.99 that it is currently being sold for is worth it, even though the Helio X25 chipset is a bit old. And, on the bright side, you will have something interesting to show your friends.
