Android 10 Q will be official within a few months. Google applied the beta of this new version to other non-Pixel devices and Xiaomi was on the list with some of its models. The Chinese company is already working on this version under MIUI 11, its next layer of personalization. Now he has published a list with all the Xiaomi phones that will receive Android 10 Q: models and update dates.
It has done so through a publication of the MUI forum in China. The models are some of the most recent and are confirmed, but other devices may be added later. Some terminals, with MI 9, will receive the version this year, while others will have to wait until 2020.
Xiaomi phones that will receive Android 10 Q in late 2019 are Xiaomi Mi 9, Mi 9 SE, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer, Mi 8 Pro, Mi Mix 3, Mi Mix 3 5G, Mi Mix 2s, Redmi K20 ( Mi 9T ), and Redmi K20 Pro. While Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro will receive Android Q in the first quarter of 2020.
It is important to mention that these dates correspond to the Chinese market and that in other countries, such as Spain, the update could take a little longer to arrive. Some terminals, such as Mi 9, Mi Mix 3 and Redmi K20 Pro, are already in beta and are expected to be the first to update.
In addition, Xiaomi ensures that it is tart from an indicative date and that it could change at any time. Therefore, do not expect your Xiaomi device to be updated on the same days that Google releases the stable version of Android 10 Q. Even so, the list is quite broad, but it is somewhat expected since most of them are mobiles that have been launched during 2019
We remember that the list could increase and MIUI 11 should reach more models, even though they do not have the latest version of Android.
