Recently, Xiaomi announced that its new smartphone series called Xiaomi CC. A new generation born as a result of the union with Meitu. According to Xioami’s CEO, Lei Jun, CC is interpreted as “Colorful & Creative” or creative colorful phones.
This smartphone was also developed by a team called “Chic & Cool 90”. This phone was allegedly sliding on July 2. Through the Weibo account, Xiaomi uploaded a photo of the launch event on July 2 in Beijing, China. The event was allegedly the launch of the first Xiaomi CC phone.
Although for now there is virtually no detail officially, it is expected that the Xiaomi CC range will debut with two smartphones: a Xiaomi CC9e and a Xiaomi CC9. Two new models that would cover the different needs in relation to performance.
For its part, it is expected that the Xiaomi CC9e is the most economical version and rumors suggest that it will come with a 5.97-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The phones of Mi CC series are expected to sport Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both front and back panel.
Under the hood, The Mi CC9e is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 710 processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone is tipped to be backed by 3500mAh battery and there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor too.
On the camera section, the phone is expected to include a 32MP front camera inside a waterdrop notch. On the back panel, the phone is expected to include a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor + 8MP secondary + 5MP sensor.
On the other hand, with higher performance and a screen of 6.39, we would find the Xiaomi CC9. This would also have a Snapdragon 730 processor like the Xiaomi Mi 9T, all along with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage. In the photographic section would have a triple rear camera of 48MP + 16MP + 12MP with a 32MP selfie camera.
It has a battery of 4000mAh with 27W fast charging support, USB-C, in-display fingerprint reader, among other things. These phones of Xiaomi CC are expected to run on Android 9 Pie that is customized with MIUI 10 designed. The starting prices of Mi CC9e and CC9 could be 1,599 Yuan ($232) and 2,599 Yuan ($378).
