Vivo Z5 with Triple Rear Cameras officially launch on July 31 in China

Two weeks ago, a Vivo smartphone with V1921A code was revealed by the TENAA agency of China. It turned out to be the Vivo Z5 and will be announced on July 31 in Beijing. The press invitation-only revealed the launch time, but speculators speculated that the Vivo Z5 would be positioned in the mid-range segment. vivo officially announced that vivo Z5 will be officially released in Beijing on July 31, claiming to be “full strength.” From the poster, the vivo Z5 will have triple rear cameras with outstanding performance and heat dissipation system.

Earlier reports suggest that the Vivo Z5 relates to the V1921A model number that appeared on TENAA. The certification revealed full specs of the device along with the renders. According to TENAA, the device sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340×1080. The triple cameras are placed vertically at the top left corner of the smartphone. The Vivo Z5 measures 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm, and the weighs 189.6g. The mobile runs a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor (according to Geekebench) and comes in three storage variants – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Powered by a 4420mAh battery, the mobile runs Android 9 Pie out of the box. The Geekbench listing also reveals the smartphone will have an 8GB RAM variant.

The phone’s triple camera setup is expected to have a 48-megapixel primary sensor, coupled with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. The software department will feature Android 9 alongside Vivo’s Funtouch OS. To cap things off the phone will come with a 4,420 mAh battery presumably with 18W fast charge support.

All that is left now is to wait for the end of July to learn the pricing and availability of the Z5. It seems that this Vivo Z5 smartphone will directly compete against the recently launched Xiaomi Mi CC9 smartphone and so we expect the smartphone to be priced accordingly, which could be the deciding factor for the phone’s success in the market.
