Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro are Officially Presented Priced From $200

Honor 9X and 9X Pro are finally official, after weeks of continuous rumors and rumors. These are two mid-range smartphones that introduce some very interesting solutions and these include the new Kirin 810 SoC, the second 7nm chip made by HiSilicon. Moreover, let’s see better what these two new Honor phones have to offer us.

    Honor 9X

Full HD + resolution and 2340 by 1080 pixels. The screen is spread almost from one end to the other when it comes without any fault that interferes with the overall viewing experience and replaces the latest with a removable slippy camera that rises from the frame of the device and does not sit on the screen.

Under the hood is the 7-nm Hisilicon Kirin 810 chipset, which consists of 8 cores divided into two powerful Cortex-A76 cores at a maximum frequency of 2.27 GHz and six Cortex-A55 power-efficient cores at a maximum frequency of 1.88 GHz – Run. Along with this chipset, we also get 4 or 6GB of working memory and 64 or 128GB of storage space. The battery that runs the entire array reaches 4000mAh and is stored in a body of 8.8mm thick.

The other dimensions of the device are 163.1mm in length and 77.2mm in width. The rear-facing camera array includes a pair of 48MP and 2MP sensors, with the main sensor at an aperture of f / 1.8 and the secondary sensor being a depth sensor only. The Salafi camera that pops up from the frame also offers a high resolution, which is 16MP, with the aperture at f / 2.2.

The Honora 9X specification also includes a headphone connector, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The fingerprint reader is located on one of the side edges. The manufacturer does not mention NFC, but based on payment support in the predecessor, we suspect that NFC will be available in the global version.

Honor 9X starts in China at the amount of 1399 yuan ($203) for the version 4 + 64GB. The stronger version of 6 + 64GB will cost you 1599 yuan ($232) and the strongest 6 + 128GB will cost 1899 yuan ($276). You can choose from the attractive colors Phantom Blue, Phantom Red or Magic Night Black.

    Honor 9X Pro

The pro model in the series shares quite a bit with his younger brother, but as we mentioned earlier, the pro model changes enough to keep it an improved version of this standard. The front is the same 6.59-inch screen with an IPS LCD panel, Full HD + resolution and 2340 by 1080 pixel layout. When the screen is also devoid of faults of any kind and comes with a removable slippy camera.

The performance segment is driven by the Kirin 810 chip system, but in this model, HONOR has incorporated a cooling system designed to improve the performance of the device during games and keep it cool in every use. With it, 8GB of working memory will come into play, along with 128 or 256GB of built-in storage. The battery capacity is taken directly from the standard model and stands at 4000mAh while the operating system on which it relies is Android 9 Pie.

The Pro photography unit has been upgraded so that in this version we will get three different shooting sensors compared to two, while the main sensor remains the same at 48MP resolution and aperture f / 1.8, but the secondary sensor now offers 8MP resolution and can shoot at a wide-angle. The 2MP depth sensor was left in place, and the 16MP camera remained in the frame.

The Honor 9X Pro with a better camera and higher RAM will cost 2199 yuan ($319) if you choose a configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. The stronger version with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM will be sold for 2399 yuan ($348). Honor 9X Pro will be offered in two color combinations: Phantom Purple and Magic Night Black.

It must be admitted that the prices of individual versions of Honor 9X and 9X Pro have been set at a very decent level. The cheaper model will enter Chinese sales on July 30, while the more expensive will go on August 9.
