    Elephone Power Thunder VS Chuwi Hi-Power – Step by step review

    The daily needs many times bring us to a point where we need more energy for our mobiles, but the power of their battery is not enough. I know that there are mobiles with enormous battery, but still if you want something else. There comes the necessity of a good power-bank. Xiaomi is know to have one of the best power-banks you can get. Now two more companies are entering the power-bank market with their products. Elephone just announced to us the Elephone Power Thunder power-bank and Chuwi announced the Chuwi Hi-Power. Let us see step by step who is better and what to choose.

    Design

    The Elephone Power Thunder Powerbank has attractive appearance which can meet the demand of customers, but also there are more on the configuration and parameters. The power Thunder weights 296 g and has 153.0 x 65.0 x 25.0 mm dimensions. The Elephone Power Thunder Powerbank has 12 layer for protection to make it secure according to the company’s rules. The Elephone Power Thunder Powerbank  is available only in Gold.

    The new Chuwi Hi-Power power bank is very sleek and compact with dimensions of 103.5 x 60.91 x 22.8mm and weighs just 195 g. The body of the Chuwi Power Bank is made of plastic and comes with 9 layers of protection to make it sturdy, according to the company. The Chuwi Hi-Power power bank is available in Black, White, Green, Pink, and Blue colors.

    Features

    The new Chuwi Hi-Power power bank is powered by Qualcomm’s quick charge 3.0 and has 18 watts input and output with two-way fast charging. The power bank has a high 93% conversion rate which is optimized for charging/discharging efficiency. The power bank has LG/Panasonic high-density cells paired with Texas Instruments control chip. On the top of the device, there is a Mirco-USB port and a USB port as well as three LEDs battery notifications. The capacity of the battery is 10050mAh.

    The Elephone Power Thunder has also a Qualcomm Certification 3.0 for Quick Charge Type-C Interface with LED Indicators lights show you the power status. The capacity of it is 16000 mAh. The C-rate of QC 3.0 is 4 times as fast as normal charge technology, and the charge efficiency is improved by 38% compared to QC 2.0. Powered by the most secure LG cell, the new power bank can lower the deterioration caused by long-time usage and the rate of safety is improved dramatically. The Elephone Power Thunder is built with Type-C, Micro USB interface and supports charging and discharging simultaneously.

    Conclusion

    Here we have 2 very good powerbanks, supporting the latest protocl of Qualcomm for Quick Charging ver 3.0. Elephone Power Thunder has bigger capacity, since it reaches up to 16000mAh, but and the capacity of the Chuwi Hi-Power powerbank is not little, since we are speaking for 10050mAh.
