To watch a movie

Home theater is the most common projector role. As a rule, viewing in a dark room brings maximum pleasure. AUN M18 has sufficient brightness (5500 lumens) and contrast (1000: 1-2000: 1) so that the picture is clearly visible in the not very bright sun and dense curtains on the windows. In addition, the device has a natural color rendition: without any additional settings, it does not redden the face and does not distort the spectrum at all. But you can optionally set colder or warmer shades or create your own RGB profile.

The projector is equipped with a five-watt speaker – it will not replace full-fledged speakers, but it still allows you to watch a movie in a large room. Even the noise of the cooling system is not a hindrance, because soon you stop paying attention to it. Although it is better, of course, to enjoy a session with speakers or headphones – to connect them, there is a standard 3.5 mm jack on the case. It is located on the side, and an SD card slot is located nearby. That’s why it is convenient to use drives in AUN, as well as disconnect and connect speakers – no need to move the gadget from the wall, which is often required by other models.

You can play movies directly from hard drives, flash drives or memory cards. And if the movie collection is stored on an external hard drive, there is no need to bother with connecting via PC or TV. The gadget is great for small rooms. At a distance of 1.7 meters from the wall or screen, the image is not distorted and looks quite natural. In similar models, a comfortable distance starts at best from two meters. And, on the contrary, up to 6.2 m AUN produces a clearly distinguishable picture – all thanks to high brightness and contrast.

The system allows you to manually adjust the focus depending on the distance to the screen. You can also adjust the projection angle to get a rectangular image, rather than a trapezoid, yourself. There is a small lever next to the lens and focusing wheel to help adjust the picture and compensate for deviations up to 30 °.

The AUN LED projector claims a key place in the multimedia space of the house. It copes well with moderate daylight, is compatible with current devices and produces high-quality pictures in honest Full HD. But it costs much less than similar devices – the basic version will cost about 12,400 rubles, and for AUN with Android on board you will have to add about 5,000 more.
