Lu Master Quarter 3 Flagship Phones Perrformance List Released

Recently, Master Lu released the Q3 quarter mobile phone chip list. Can Kirin 990 win the Snapdragon 855?

In the second half of this year, Qualcomm broke the convention. In the time when the Snapdragon 855 was shipping in large quantities, it launched a small overclocked version of the Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, becoming the first choice for the next mainstream flagship. Huawei also officially released a new generation of flagship SOC Kirin 990 series, the new machine Mate30 series also began shipping. The list shows that Snapdragon 855 Plus won the first place without accident, Kirin 990 won the second place, and Snapdragon 855 was in the third place. From the leaderboard, the performance of the Kirin 990 is between the Snapdragon 855 and the Snapdragon 855 Plus. The GPU score is tied to the Snapdragon 855, and the CPU score is slightly higher than the Snapdragon 855.

Among the high-end chips, the Snapdragon 730G appeared on the list for the first time. This processor is released together with the Snapdragon 730. It is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 730. It is mainly used in mid-to-high-end game phones, such as OPPO Reno 2, realme X2, etc. The Snapdragon 730G integration enhances the Adreno 618 GPU, which improves graphics rendering speed by approximately 15% compared to the Snapdragon 730. The overall running score is higher than the Snapdragon 730.

Huawei’s mid-range processor Kirin 810 is also on the list. The 7nm process of the Kirin 810 uses a Cortex-A76-based CPU, a custom Mali-G52 GPU, and Huawei’s self-developed DaVinci architecture NPU. The target is directed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series. As for the Kirin 990 5G version, it has not been shipped because it has not been shipped yet.
