Late last month, Xiaomi surprised the tech world after the launch of Mi MIX Alpha, its most advanced smartphone ever, with extremely beautiful and futuristic design. However, many people believe that Mi MIX Alpha is just a concept and this smartphone has absolutely no real value.
Currently, although Mi MIX Alpha has not been officially released, recently, information about the successor of this phone has been posted quite a lot online. Even Batyrkhan Bayaliev – a designer from Kyrgyzstan also created the Mi MIX Alpha 2 concept, with the ability to expand the screen size thanks to the scroll mechanism on the sides.
In the concept, the Mi MIX Alpha 2, codenamed Paccorus, comes with an overall design that remains the same, although it looks a bit narrower than the first generation. The screen of the phone still extends from the front to the back, but is designed to roll on the sides and can be stretched to “transform” into a tablet with a larger screen.
Not only that, Mi MIX Alpha 2 can also become more compact, just the size of two pens or a giant Snickers bar if you want. This screen can be rolled up like rolled into two axes on the sides. Alternatively, you can also drag from the sides to expand the flexible OLED screen to the diagonal size of a tablet.
It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 865 processor which will also be the flagship product of next year. At the same time, the phone will be equipped with the X55 baseband. For RAM, Xiaomi has climbed into the 12GB car as other brands such as ASUS or OnePlus have already done. It is the two versions available and is complemented with 512GB and 1TB of internal storage.
Overall, it can be seen that this is an extremely interesting design and if it is realized, Mi MIX Alpha 2 will surely make many “big” people have to be wary. In any case, you should not trust too much because this concept is completely built on imagination, not designed according to leaked information.
