Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi released the timeline for MIUI 11 update in a recent event. After rolling out the MIUI 11 update to Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones recently. Now the company is giving an update of MIUI 11 in some other smartphones Redmi 5A.
The updates bring with it the October 2019 Android security patches to the device. Some users have shared screenshots. Redmi 5A gets MIUI version MIUI V11.0.2.0 OCKCNXM with size 635MBs.
We recommend all Redmi 5A users to download it as soon as they get the update. If you haven’t received a notification, you can check for the MIUI 11 update’s availability on your phone by going to Settings > About phone > System update.
MIUI 11 brings new features like New Minimalistic Design, Quick Replies, New Dynamic Sound Effects, Mi Share, Floating Calculator, Updated Mi File Manager, Steps Trackers and more on the device. Be patient until your device arrives, the upgrade is available by purchase. As always, be connected to WiFi and have your device charged before upgrading.
The Redmi 5A features a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. The Redmi 5A has a 3000mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
