Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme is preparing to launch another smartphone. We still know little about the C3 model, but the device has just received FCC certification. Obtaining a document from the US Federal Communications Commission means that the manufacturer is on track to put the device on store shelves. Obtaining FCC certification is necessary for the device to be sold.
@TechiGuy_ provided information about an incoming device via his Twitter account. On four photos there are screenshots of certification documents, as well as a diagram showing the appearance of backs.
The technical picture of the smartphone indicates that the device will be equipped with a classic fingerprint reader placed on the back and a vertical lens housing located in the upper left corner. Its shape is somewhat similar to the solution from the iPhone X / Xs. A rectangle with rounded short edges was used.
The sticker on the cover tells us that the Realme C3 smartphone has received the model number RMX2020. The smartphone is FCC 2AUYFRMX2020 certified.
In the technical specification provided by FCC, we can learn a bit about the communication systems that will be used in the new smartphone. It will be a Dual-SIM device with Dual-Standby mode, which should not be surprising in the case of a Chinese device. In addition, the phone will be equipped with a 4G LTE modem, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is a pity that there was no dual-band WLAN, but in exchange Realme C3 offers an NFC module that can be used for contactless payments.
We have also learned from the FCC certificate that the smartphone works under the control of the Color OS 7.0 operating system. This solution is based on the latest Android 10. We remind you that Realme C3, which will debut on days, was equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor supported by 3GB of RAM. The device will offer a 6.22-inch screen with HD + resolution with a small cut-out in the shape of a drop of water.
