Huawei’s P50 series is likely to be released in June this year, along with a series of products such as the MatePad Pro 2. Recently, however, images of the Huawei Mate50 Pro+ have surfaced online, but will this phone really be designed like this?
According to the exposed images, Huawei Mate50 Pro+ generally inherits the design language of the Mate40 series. The front of the phone is equipped with a hyperboloid screen, which is punched in the center, and the border on both sides can hardly be seen. In most cases, the front of the phone is equipped with a waterfall screen, which makes the front of the phone have a high screen ratio. The back of the phone is basically the same design as the Mate40 Pro+, with a circular design and five cameras on the back. The phone has speaker holes at the top and bottom.
As for specs, Huaweicentral reports that the phone still has a Kirin 9000 processor, a 120Hz LTPO screen on the front, and Harmonyos pre-installed. Other specs haven’t been revealed yet.

In terms of the time span, it’s a little early to warm up to the Mate50 series, since the P50 series has not yet been released. In addition, although Mate and P series both attach great importance to the inheritance and continuation of design ID, and continue to extend according to the design of the previous generation, they do not adopt exactly the same appearance design. Therefore, this rendering is probably just a general concept drawing, and the practical significance is not high.
