Xiaomi officially announced today that the Xiaomi Mi 12 series will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips. Xiaomi Zeng Xuezhong said that the team has conducted in-depth adjustments to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in many aspects, and made breakthroughs in camera/fluency/ battery life/ heat dissipation/ and signal.
Xiaomi Mi 11 series mobile phones first released the Snapdragon 888 chip, and there was a certain fever problem in the early stage. According to Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip has a 20% increase in CPU performance and a 30% increase in energy efficiency (not at the same time) compared to Snapdragon 888; the GPU performance increases by 30% and an energy efficiency increase of 25% (not at the same time).

According to the picture released by Xiaomi, this phone will be equipped with a large-area VC soaking plate with an area of 2600mm², which is Xiaomi’s thinnest and super-large VC liquid cooling. The Mi 12 series of mobile phones will be released at 19:30 on the evening of December 28.
