Since both models are tested with the performance mode turned on, after five rounds of running points, they will be prompted to overheat and cannot continue.
Although it indicates overheating, the temperature on the back of the fuselage is actually fine. The SOC area of the Snapdragon 8 model is 45.2 °C, and the Redmi K50 Pro is 44.2 °C, which triggers the temperature protection. It can be seen that the internal temperature is high, and the accumulated heat is a headache for these two chips.

3. Yuanshen

The most unexpected thing is the temperature. The temperature of the Redmi K50 Pro when running “Genshin Impact” is almost the lowest in the native 60-frame mode since our test. The SOC core area temperature of 42.3°C is almost the same as the performance of the previous Snapdragon 8 mobile phone in the 45-frame mode. The Redmi K50 Pro can also find certain picture quality adjustments when running “Yuan Shen”, and the resolution and other special effects are consistent with the commercially available Snapdragon 8 models. Therefore, unlike the previous Dimensity 9000 test machine, which suffered from severe heat at the highest picture quality of 720P, the Redmi K50 Pro’s frame rate and temperature performance are better.
