Now, a Japanese company, the KYOCERA, introduces the New “rafre” Washable Smartphone!
Kyocera Corporation, with president Goro Yamaguchi, announced today the release of a new rafre smartphone for Japanese service provider KDDI Corporation. The product is a continuation of the last year orignal DIGNO rafre, launched on December 2015 as the world’s first hand-soap-washable smartphone. In addition to resistance against foaming hand soap, the second-generation model possesses resistance to foaming body soap. The product will be available from March 2017 in Japan, and will be offered in three colors: Pale Pink, Clear White and Light Blue.
The new rafre mobile has water resistance to hot water. The touchscreen of the mobile can be used even if your hands are wet or wearing gloves. Furthermore, the new handset is equipped with a special cooking app which with the help of the front camera, can understand gestures and let you scroll through recipes, set timers when is needed or even answer calls without having to touch the display. This allows the use of the smartphone under any situation.
The good thing is that you can keep easily your mobile clean, since you can clean it with soap when it will become dirty. By this way you and your mobile will be always clean! The new rafre mobile is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera. The mobile runs a specially designed app, the AINOS Engine®, that enables users to take clear photos in low-light conditions. The camera is also equipped with Phase Detection AF for quick focusing, and Auto HDR which enables automated clear shooting by recreating light and shade in detail.
The new rafre mobile will be of 71 × 142 × 10.4mm dimensions and will weight about 158g. Comes with a big 3000mAh battery that will give you about day and a half energy. Run nougat 7.0 out of the box. We don’t know exactly what kind of CPU will use, will come with 2GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. IF you think the internal storage is not enough for you, it can take microSDXC™ up to 200GB. It supports 2 4G LTE / WiMAX2+, with max speed of 150Mbps. The mobile has 5.0 inch display with HD TFT LCD. The main rear camera is a 13-megapixel CMOS and the front camera is a 5-megapixel CMOS. The new mobile supports BT. 4.2.
