Smartwatches can be used not only as pocket-sized smartphones, but also as a useful health tool for counting steps or monitoring your health, and more and more users cannot do without them. There are a ton of smartwatches in the market right now, from the top-of-the-line Apple Watch and Fitbits to Tizen sporting to the HarmonyOS-based Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro and more, so it’s not easy to choose because of fitness features, specs, design, smartphone Compatibility, and price are all you need to focus on.

If you’re shopping for the best smartwatch for yourself, start by thinking about the phone you’re using, as features are sometimes added based on which phone you have, although some smartwatches don’t require a phone connection. Here’s our list of ten smartwatches with GPS, ECG, or other features you might care about, along with our overview and pros and cons, so you don’t have to do too much research to find out.

    1. Apple Watch 7

The Apple Watch 7 is the best smartwatch out there, but you need an iPhone. The Apple Watch 7 is a flagship smartwatch that doesn’t differ much from the Apple Watch 6 in some ways.

It has basically the same processor and few new features, but the Apple Watch 7’s new features are very useful, especially its large screen, which is 20% larger than before, but because the panel is not much larger, it looks worn on the watch. Only slightly larger on the wrist.

The Apple Watch 7 also feels like it charges faster than ever and has great features, so the Apple Watch 7 is a great smartwatch.

    2. Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro

The battery life of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is 14 days for the titanium version and 7 days for the ceramic version. Either of these can be charged for 10 minutes and last for a full day of use.

Huawei’s latest flagship smartwatch features a “Moon Phase Series” interface design, high-quality materials, a large ultra-clear screen, and a range of watch faces to choose from, making it easy for you to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Through electrocardiogram (ECG) analysis, and Huawei TruSeen 5.0+ data monitoring technology, you can get heart health measurement and blood oxygen monitoring.

Users of Huawei Watch GT3 Pro can also use more than 100 training modes, with AI running coach and personal running plan function based on personal body, running history, and personal goals.

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro titanium version comes with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, and the ceramic version comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display. The titanium alloy version adopts a new appearance and texture, integrating minimalist design, while the ceramic version combines design elements of Eastern and Western aesthetics. Both watches look great.

    3. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is a wearable watch, and Samsung has brought back Tizen as its operating system. It’s a new take on the OS, with Tizen’s unusual look on top. The Star Galaxy Watch 4 lets you take advantage of the features and apps of Wear OS, plus the look and feel of Tizen, giving you the best of both worlds.

In addition to its great performance, we found it to have a comfortable fit, lightweight, and interesting body composition measurement tools, so it’s not an exaggeration to call it a top smartwatch, especially for those interested in tracking themselves For people with health status.

But the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 requires a Samsung phone for some features, and it doesn’t support the iPhone, so we can’t recommend it for everyone. It’s also not worth upgrading to the latest Galaxy Watch if you already own it.

    4. Huawei Watch 3 Pro

Huawei is pretty good at making wearables that look like watches. The titanium case of the Huawei Watch 3 Pro is very eye-catching, covering all sides of the case, and it also includes a familiar rotating crown.

The Huawei Watch 3 Pro’s 1.43-inch AMOLED screen is of outstanding quality, and the brightness of 1000 nits is convenient for outdoor viewing. Huawei adopts the HarmonyOS 2.0 system this time, which not only provides third-party application support but also saves power and can be used for up to 21 days. The new OS also brings a unique new style to the Watch 3 Pro, resulting in a clean interface, smooth animations, and an overall pleasing navigation experience.

The new eSIM feature separates the Watch 3 Pro from the smartphone to function as a standalone device. It also offers a host of smart features, including temperature tracking, SpO2, stress and sleep monitoring, and more. The Huawei Watch 3 Pro is more than just a standard watch, it can be tightly integrated with your life (and phone) to help you achieve daily life.

    5. Apple Watch SE

The Apple Watch SE is the best smartwatch money can buy right now, but only if you have an iPhone. Why didn’t the Apple Watch 6 win the title of best smartwatch? That’s because the Apple Watch SE does pretty much everything a smartwatch can, and at a much lower price.

The Apple Watch SE packs some high-end specs, a high-end design, and a ton of features that no other smartwatch currently offers. While the battery life isn’t the best on the market and there’s no always-on display, if you’re looking for a great value smartwatch, you should go for the Apple Watch SE.

    6. Fitbit Versa 3

If you don’t want to choose between Samsung or Apple, the Fitbit Versa 3 might be the best fit for your wrist, and the company’s latest smartwatch is the best choice for those who want to focus on fitness features.

The Fitbit Versa 3 has built-in GPS, is comfortable to wear, and has an easy-to-view screen with clear images. Like Fitbit smartwatches before it, this is mostly focused on fitness and won’t work for everyone. But for the average wearable enthusiast, the Fitbit Versa 3 is a solid choice, and it’s more affordable than some of the other options on this list.

    7. Huawei Watch 3 GT

Huawei’s new GT 3 46mm watch is gorgeously designed with 3D curved glass and a high-gloss finish. The Moon Phase II series offers sunrise, sunset times and tide change options in real-time, all integrated into one beautiful UI.

The Huawei Watch GT3 also offers an excellent 2 weeks of battery life with normal use, while also monitoring heart rate SpO2. It comes with an AI-based personal running coach and over 100 training modes. It also tracks your sleep and keeps you in the habit with daily reminders. With Huawei App Gallery, you can extend the functionality with other apps.

    8. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

If you own an Android phone, the best smartwatch you can buy right now is Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3. However, it also works with the iPhone, the company’s most successful product to date. It’s an updated version of the Galaxy Watch from 2018, and it keeps many of the design elements and refines and upgrades them.

The Galaxy Watch 3 features a unique rotating bezel that makes navigating your smartwatch a joy. We found this to be much easier than using a screen.

The apps available on the watch are more limited than Wear OS or watchOS (two rival operating systems for smartwatches), but it still offers the core basic functionality, and Samsung has given users a device that is both fit and well-designed and more functional watches.

If you’re using it on an iPhone, its functionality is more limited, but it’s still compatible with those devices. If Apple Watch is your choice, we recommend you consider the following Apple Watches. Overall, the Galaxy Watch 3 is a complete package, and if you’re looking for a smartwatch to track your fitness and look good on your wrist, the Galaxy Watch 3 is a solid choice.

    9. Fitbit Sense

Fitbit Sense is as stylish as it is impressive, with advanced health and fitness features such as electrocardiogram, stress monitoring, heart rate zones, and skin temperature measurement.

It’s an interesting feature set, and it packs in all the basics of a fitness-focused smartwatch, including tracking workouts, GPS, voice assistants (with options for Alexa or Google Assistant), and meditation tools.

With its stainless steel case and sharp screen, the Fitbit Sense feels like a complete package, but sadly, some of its tools cost money. If you’re happy with a subscription then it’s a top choice, but if you just want a one-time purchase then be aware that you won’t be able to use everything this watch has to offer.

    10. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2

Samsung pared down the best parts of the Galaxy Watch into this sportier smartwatch that’s slimmer, lighter, and arguably more comfortable — and released a second a few months after the first. , which includes some enviable features, including a rotating digital bezel and an LTE version.

Overall, it hasn’t changed much — which isn’t a bad thing, as it’s still a great smartwatch at a great price. With a 1.2-inch 360 x 360 screen, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is bright and beautiful, but compared to many of the other devices on this list, it’s small enough to strap to your wrist.

It still has all the high-end fitness features of the Samsung Tizen watch lineup, including 39 workout modes, heart rate and ECG sensors, and a Health app with stress and sleep monitoring. There’s even a way to monitor your blood pressure, but it won’t be activated for a while.

While it’s more affordable than the Apple Watch, it’s a lot more expensive than the original Active Watch, and it’s not a great value for money compared to the competition. It’s certainly not a cheap smartwatch, but at the price of the Galaxy Watch 3, you’d probably prefer a version very similar to it.

What should you look out for when buying a smartwatch?

The first thing to check is that your phone is compatible — you can’t use an Apple Watch with an Android phone, or a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 with an iPhone. Beyond that, think about battery life and capabilities — how often are you willing to charge it, and what do you need the watch for?

    Which smartwatch is the best?

The best smartwatches change all the time, but usually, you’ll find Apple or Samsung smartwatches at the top of the list because they tend to have high-end features, but it seems like the Huawei watch is also a good choice these days.
